History of Litecoin

Litecoin was introduced by an open-source customer on GitHub on October 7, 2011 by Sir Charlie Lee. He is a Google worker who later became Engineering Director at Coinbase.The Litecoin network went live on October 13, 2011.

Litecoin is different from bitcoin

The working of litecoin is very fast as litecoin produces new block every 2.5 minutes, but on the other hand bitcoin produces new block after 10 minutes. So it has been proved that litecoin is very fast than bitcoin.
