Centralised social media platforms are those platforms in which they are controlled by one Central authority means there is a company which controls everything on that platform who can post and who cannot which post should stay on the platform and which post should be removed in centralised social media platforms they can easily sensor anyone they want there can be political pressure on the platform and there can be individual pressure on the platform as well and centralised social media platform transparency is a big problem nothing is transparent only the company knows all the secrets Anda uses don't know anything in centralised social media platforms your data can be easily manipulated it can be sold to other companies and we saw that many times in the past with Facebook that they sell user data to other companies like Google and Amazon centralised social media platforms  come under the government rules and regulations it means that they will have to follow all the rules made by the government

I have been using both centralised social media platforms like Twitter and Facebook and Instagram and I have been using a decentralized social media platform for a while which is steemit  and according to my my opinion I Think decentralised Social Media platforms are the future of social media there are many reasons the first reason is the transparency decentralized social media platforms are completely transfer and from each and everything the second reason is that you get to decide what you want to do on the platform which means that there is a very less censorship the third reason will be that in decentralized social media platform you can make money which is a big factor  to centralised social media platforms don't give you any profit that they make and they make profit from you and you don't get  any profit that they generate from your data  and from your content that you are providing content can be picture videos random posts

Another very important reason is that social media platforms your account can be suspended anytime without any warnings Twitter has suspended many accounts of mine more than 3 accounts and the reason was not cleared yet and that can be very annoying because if you get followers you make friends on a social media platform and suddenly you see that your account is gone along with all your data and when it comes to decentralized social media platforms your account will stay the same even if you come back after 10 years which makes it the future of decentralized social media platforms

 another reason that I would say is the duplication of content on social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter there is a lot of duplication of content means that same thing has been posted by many users which makes it nothing but a garbage on the decentralized social media platforms one person can only post it once not even from the same Id he can post it again and not even from another id the content should be completely original and should be posted only once

Steemit  is One hundred thousand times better than Twitter and Facebook there are so many reasons

2  Facebook is very venerable and very easy to hack hacker can easily hack your account in just a few minutes and you can lose all your data and your private life that you don't want to share with the rest of the world it will be  gone in just a few seconds

3  Facebook and Twitter doesn't pay you in any way there are some monetization system but they are very strict and very hard  the requirements for those monetization systems are very hard and not everyone can fulfill those requirements
