Q/1: What do you think about Airdrop in cryptocurrency?

Airdrops in cryptocurrency are the most important thing to attract people to come and join. If we talk in simple words It is like a sale if we go to a big brand and we saw 70% off many and many people come and want to buy that item the airdrops are most relevant to this sale. In airdrops, you don’t have a chance to lose your money. Here are some steps to why airdrops are important in any cryptocurrency.

• It can help to attract the customers to come and get this currency free and after getting that currency and following rules you can get rewards.
• It can help to get more investors to buy this currency when a project had not a sufficient fund then they release airdrops so investors come and buy this.
• You can say it’s a promotional activity through social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc for the popularity of this currency.
• It helps the shareholders of that currency to get some investment and increase the value of that currency by giving airdrops.

Q/2: How can we know about an Airdrop event so that we can participate?

We can know about airdrop events through social media platforms like Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, Telegram and many other websites. We just need to search about those events and be connected to these platforms for updates. We can know about airdrop event through our friends who are doing research and participating in airdrop events. They can give us full information about Where the event is held and how can we participate in that event. Moreover, there is a site named coinmarketcap which is also helpful in Finding the Airdrops, we can choose Aordrops of our choice and then participate in them.

Q/3: Where are Airdrop events often held?

Mostly airdrop events are held on social media platforms like facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Discord, telegram and many other websites. We need to search about that events and then we can follow the rules and regulations and can get rewards. We can simply go to these social media platforms and search tag airdrop events and we can get list of that events. One more simple way to know about where the events held we need to follow those people who are sharing information about events. You also can go to coinmarketcap and can see which event is going on.

Q/4: Are all Airdrop events free from scams? Otherwise, how can we avoid the scam?

All the airdrop events are not free from scams. We need to totally research that event and then we can participate in that event. Most scammers do scams to get your personal information.

• Private Keys: Mostly scammers do scams to get the private key of your wallet when you give them your private key they can easily access your wallet and can steal your all money.
• Personal Information: they can steal your personal information while you were filling that form for participating and then they sell your personal information for crimes.
• They can use your personal information for any reference and for crimes.

Firstly we need to research and identify that event. If someone asked you to give your private key to him it’s a scam be careful about that. If someone promises to give a very heavy amount of profit believe me it’s also a shape of a scam. If someone asks you to give your personal information is also a shape of a scam. Be careful of scammers they have a lot of ways to do scams but mostly use these four ways.

Q/5: Have you ever participated in a cryptocurrency Airdrop event? If so, then explain. Meanwhile, if you have never participated but have heard of the Airdrop event, then explain it. (Show proof with screenshot)

event by my cousin and i’ll try to participate in this event. The name of this currency is Zerogoki. the participants of this currency is 96,825 and the winners are 1000 and this event will end at 18 JULY 2021.

Q/6: Give and explain an example of an Airdrop event that has passed and the airdrop was successful. Then give one more example that has been proven to be a fraud. (It is not allowed to take the example that has been taken in question number 5)

When I research about events I go to the coinmarketcap and saw which events is going on and which events are ended then I found Baby Shark token this event was started in 4 JULY and ended on 14 JULY and this event went smooth.

• The Total Amount of Airdrop was 4,700,000,000,001 SHARK

• Number of winners were 2000

Participants were 331,120


The rules to follow this event were very simple you can see the screenshot attached above and rules.

Q/7: Look for examples of ongoing Airdrop events, make an analysis that proves that the Airdrop of your choice is good. (Screenshot required)

When I go to the coinmarketcap I saw many of events are going on. Then I saw Token name Well Well token and it was on the 5 number. When I read details of this event I saw how many participants are participating and how many, number of winners and many more things.

• The participants were 143,560
• Number of winners 500
• Total amount of airdrop were 16,666

It was very simple rules to participate in this event.

Here I want to mention here coinmarketcap site where this event is held. The name of this token is Well Well. Firstly we need to see the reliable source if we talk about other social media sites those sites are not reliable but Coinmarketcap is reliable because it has some rules and regulation. After following the rules any Airdrop  event or a project list on coinmarketcap.

I want to participate in Well Well Token and this token has some rules and regulations.

•  Add WELL to your CoinMarketCap watchlist
• Join the BitWell Telegram group
• Follow BitWell Twitter account
•  Re-tweet and tag 3 friends
• Fill in the CoinMarketCap airdrop form and submit your Binance Smart Chain compatible wallet address (Do not submit an exchange wallet address as you could permanently lose all your airdropped tokens)

CONCLUSION

Thank you so much professor for this lecture I really learn a lot. Airdrops are use for the popularity of that token or a currency we can say it use for awareness. I think airdrops is a opportunity for us to get more profit and also we can get more currencies and more tokens but we need to be careful from scam airdrops.
