Hello Steemians! Warm welcome to my post. I hope that you will be doing well. I'm also fine and enjoying my day. Today I'm going to participate in this Steemit Engagement Challenge Season 11 week 2 in the Steemit Crypto Academy The topic of this challenge is "Reputation on Steem Blockchain". So let's start without any more delay of time.

What is reputation? Explain

The reputation on Steemit is a very important factor which highlights the influence of a user on Steem Blockchain. It is also refers that how trusty you are and where you are standing between the Steemit users. Basically the reputation is a measure of score of credibility of Steemit users on the platform. The reputation is of an individual is calculated by collecting the number of posts , the value of upvotes on that Posts and the number of comments which he received from other users and curation rewards .

When we start our journey on Steemit our reputation is about 25 but when we work on that platform i.e create quality contents and do a healthy engagement with other Steemians by commenting on their posts and upvoting them our reputation increase. As the reputation of Steemit user increase the trust of Steem Blockchain on that users also increase. In this way he is considered more trusty and then he becomes eligible for taking a high responsibility on that platform such as selecting as a country representative and selecting in the team of curators.

The reputation on Steem Blockchain is just like the reputation or respect of a person in his family and within a specific department or community. When a person lives in a society or works in a specific department the people and Due to his work and relationships with other make him a trusty person for them. Same like that when we start working on Steemit with great devotion and with following all the rules such as doing a healthy engagement with other Steemians upvoting and commenting on their posts the our reputation in front of Steemit team increase which increase our trust on them and also increase our reputation.

Actually I have started my journey on Steemit in November 2021 but due to some reasons and study pressure I decided to stop working on Steemit. But in the beginning of that Year I started working again and creating quality contents and also engaging with other Steemians. Now my reputation is about 65. And I'm very happy with that and wishing to increase my reputation UpTo 70+.

Actually there are two methods of determine your reputation on Steem Blockchain. The first is very simple and easy. In this your reputation is written on your main Steemit profile just next to your name as you can see in the screenshot below. But the second method is little bit complicated we will also discuss about it in the below section.

Steps To Determine The Reputation

• Step 1: To Determine Your reputation on Steem Blockchain first of all you have to open the SteemWorld Website. Then click on the Dashboard option and you will enter the main menu of that website. Then click on the Stats option as you can see below.

• Step 2: After clicking on the stats option your the Stats of your account will appear on the screen of your mobile phone. It will show you the steem power, RC status followers post count and the Reputation of your account. So my current Reputation is 65.717 and it is increasing gradually.

What methods do you currently use to increas your reputation? Explain

Actually I'm a very passionate about working on Steemit and I'm doing it with great devotion and interest. I'm using different and reliable techniques to increase my reputation on Steem Blockchain. Usually it is very simple and besides me every Steemian can use that type of methods to increase their influence and reputation on Steem Blockchain. Currently I'm using different methods to increase my reputation such as :

• I'm following all the rules and regulations of Steem Blockchain and using my own brain and using the proof of brain method to increase my reputation.

• I'm trying my best to publish a quality well researched and well written post to seek the attention of Steem curators so I may get rewards may reputation may increase.

• I'm also working on Steemit consistently and publishing 1 or 2 articles every day. This is because the reward is not guaranteed on every post so I may get rewards on some of my posts.

• I'm also building a strong relationship with other Steemians and with the Highly reputed Steem it users. So I can seek guidance from them for the betterment of my Steemit journey.

• I'm also regularly engaging with other Steemians by commenting and upvoting their posts. So I may receive upvotes back from them and thus my reputation will increase.

• I'm publishing my interesting articles in different communities and also participating in Steemit Engagement Challenges in order to get support and to increase my reputation.

Can Your Reputation Score go down? Explain

Yes our reputation score can go down. If a respectable and a highly reputed person in a society commits a wrong act or an opposite act to the rules of that society then all the people start talking about him wrongly and bad things which lowers his respect and reputation in that society. Just like that when a highly reputed Steemian do any abusive act and break the rules and regulations of Steem Blockchain then his reputation can also go down.

Such as when he publish any plagiarized content in any of community then it will produce negativity about that person among the users of community. It may be that in this way people lose faith in him completely and people stop believing in him and do not pay any attention to him. They also down vote his posts Which can put very bad impacts on the reputation of that Steemian. This is because whenever that type of incident happen the reward for that user may be reduced and he may be permanently banned from specific community or may from the whole platform.

More ever when a person use any of bid-bots service to get support then whenever he caught doing this And whenever he does this the Steemit users treat him very badly such as they down vote on his posts and sometimes they puts flag on posts thus his reputation decrease. The fact is that whenever you go against the rules of any platform then your reputation decrease automatically even it is Steemit or any other platform.
