Deutsch im Anschluß…

The year is drawing to a close and the call to present the Steemit Awards is back. 2023 - honour to whom honour is due?

As always, it is no easy task to decide on ONE candidate. In fact, it's impossible: there are several Steemians who would belong on this select podium. Nonetheless, this nomination may be a good opportunity to set highlights and attract attention. If it works, that would be half the battle... ;-))

With this in mind, my suggestions, which I don't see as an absolute ranking, but as a sign of appreciation and public homage ;-))

Best author

I fully realise that I sound - and am - biased from the first sentence: my best author (of all time) is @ty-ty. I'm not referring to his level of activity on the Steem; he posts comparatively little. But what he does post is on a literary, aesthetic, linguistic and philosophical level that clearly stands out from just about every other blogger here. He probably doesn't care that I'm putting him on a pedestal (he probably won't realise it for a few weeks anyway ;-)) - but that doesn't change the fact that every single one of his texts is exceptionally strong and haunting... The best!!!

Best contribution to the community

There's plenty to choose from here too, but in my opinion @bambuka is doing an unbeatable job of strengthening the community and cohesion here. In a playful way, namely with a series of different contests in the World of Xpilar and in the Dream Steem Community, he encourages a number of ambitious photographers and writers to excel week after week. I am also very grateful to him for encouraging and supporting our young Community from the very beginning. His own contributions are always inspiring and enriching - which is exactly how blogs should be!

Best Community

This is really difficult - the temptation to suggest the own little "empire" is huge ;-)) But to be honest: we're still a long, long way from that. But those who have definitely outgrown their infancy - Deutsch Unplugged. As a language-bound German Community, it is going its own way, not bending over backwards in the hunt for rewards or recognition. It binds good authors, developers, witnesses, scrabble players and commentators and interacts in an individual and personal way not only internally, but also with numerous international friends (who appreciate exactly this way...)

Of course I would be delighted if my nominations were considered! But it is also very important to me to express my respect and solidarity with the nominees in this way: I am glad that you are here on the Steem! So fingers are crossed and the tension will increase immeasurably over the next few weeks... That's how the year ends ;-))

Das Jahr geht zur Neige und der Aufruf, die Steemit Awards zu verleihen, ist wieder aktuell. 2023 – Ehre, wem Ehre gebührt!?

Wie immer ist es keine einfache Aufgabe, sich für jeweils EINEN Kandidaten zu entscheiden. Eigentlich ein Ding der Unmöglichkeit: denn es gibt etliche Steemians, die auf dieses erlesene Treppchen gehören würden. Nichtsdestotrotz ist diese Nominierung aber eventuell eine gute Möglichkeit, Highlights zu setzen, Aufmerksamkeit zu wecken. Wenn das funktioniert, wäre das schon die halbe Miete… ;-))

In diesem Sinne meine Vorschläge, die ich nicht als absolutes Ranking verstehe, sondern als Zeichen der Wertschätzung und öffentlicher Huldigung ;-))

Bester Autor

Mir ist vollkommen klar, daß ich vom ersten Satz an befangen klinge – und bin: mein bester Autor (aller Zeiten) ist @ty-ty. Damit meine ich nicht seinen Aktivitätsgrad auf dem Steem; er veröffentlicht vergleichsweise wenig. Aber was er postet, bewegt sich auf einem literarischen, ästhetischen, linguistischen und philosophischen Niveau, das sich von so gut wie allen anderen Bloggern hier deutlich abhebt. Vermutlich ist ihm egal, daß ich ihn gerade auf ein Podest hebe (wahrscheinlich bekommt er es ohnehin erst in einigen Wochen mit ;-)) - aber das ändert nichts an der Tatsache, daß jeder einzelne seiner Texte außergewöhnlich stark und eindringlich ist… Der Beste!!

Bester Beitrag für die Gemeinschaft

Auch hier gäbe es Auswahl, aber meiner Meinung nach ist @bambuka auf unschlagbare Art und Weise um die Stärkung der Gemeinschaft und den Zusammenhalt hier bemüht. Auf spielerische Art, nämlich mit einer Reihe von verschiedenen Wettbewerben in der World of Xpilar und in der Dream Steem Community, animiert er Woche für Woche eine ganze Reihe ambitionierter Fotografen und Schreiber zu Höchstleistungen. Darüber hinaus bin ich ihm zu großem Dank verpflichtet, weil er unsere junge Community von Beginn an gefördert und unterstützt hat. Seine eignen Beiträge sind stets inspirierend und eine Bereicherung – genau so sollten Blogs sein!

Beste Community

Das ist nun wirklich schwierig – die Versuchung, das eigene kleine „Reich“ vorzuschlagen, ist riesig ;-)) Aber ganz ehrlich: davon sind wir noch weit, weit entfernt. Wer aber den Kinderschuhen definitiv entwachsen ist - Deutsch Unplugged. Als sprachgebundene deutsche Community geht sie unbeirrt ihren Weg, verbiegt sich nicht auf der Jagd nach Rewards oder Anerkennung. Sie bindet gute Autoren, Entwickler, Witnesse, Scrabblespieler und Kommentatoren und interagiert dabei auf individuelle und persönliche Art nicht nur intern, sondern auch mit zahlreichen internationalen Freunden (die genau diese Art zu schätzen wissen…)

Natürlich wäre es mir ein Fest, wenn meine Nominierungen berücksichtigt würden! Es ist mir aber auch ganz und gar wertvoll, auf diesem Weg meinen Respekt und und meine Verbundenheit mit den Nominees auszudrücken: ich bin froh, daß es Euch hier auf dem Steem gibt! Daumen sind also gedrückt und die Spannung steigt in den nächsten Wochen ins Unermeßliche… So geht Jahresende ;-))
