Overexplaining stuff is probably bad form and ruins the "fun" but there's more to it, in theory at least. That said, I kinda doubt grebmot's semi-anonymous shitposts run risk of becoming the subject of future academical discussions, so it doesn't really matter anyhow:

The basic idea was the good old "life might be a simulation" trope and applying the concept of an arbritary code injection/executions, like treating life like a video game. So the white hair guy is actually a computer programmer who manages to use his skillset to alter the fabric of reality itself, basically through a set of very specific actions. In particular that kind of "show me the dance of your people" thing he has going on. The rolling green hils for that matter were just a reference to the original windows xp wallpaper.

This explains the idea (I'm sure I butchered it):

Nerd dork territory, I suppose :-)

Okay, so grebmot is a nerd ;-)) I didn't think of this possible parallel, I'm happy to admit...

Windows XP... I liked it a lot! Among other things, I have an old laptop that still runs on it ;-))

By the way, the fact that I like the picture I imagined doesn't change!

I mean, if it works it works. Just don't connect it to the internet.

That venn diagram isn't exactly scientific but I'd say I'm more like a dork rather than a nerd. Or some kind of unholy something or other too horrible to classify beyond the DSM-5.

Look at me rambling again. Either way, thanks for replying! I'm just happy someone is reading my stuff without me having to put a gun to their head ;-)

I think we can always find a level on which we can meet ;-))

Never meet your heroes!
