A passenger lands at an airport in Bandra City. He followed other passengers toward the check-out counter. The officer at the counter took his passport and visa for verification. The officer found everything normal, but when he saw the name of the country on the passport, he found it abnormal.

He had never even heard or read the name of the place where this person was coming from. The name was Smartafan, which was nowhere on the world map.

He checked with other migration officers, but no one had heard about this country. That unknown passenger was interrogated thoroughly. When he was asked the reason for coming to Bandra City, he said that he had come here on a business trip. According to him, his country was located somewhere between Colombia and Venezuela.

The migration officers were astonished to see that his passport had the stamps of other countries on it, and none of them looked fake. If his papers were correct, then what was wrong? The only thing that seemed wrong was that the country from which the person was claiming to have come did not exist anywhere in the world.

There was no company he was claiming to be an employee of, and when they inquired about the company he came to for business in Bandra City for a business meeting, he also denied any appointment with that person. There was no booking in his name at the hotel where this person was talking about his stay.

They searched high and low, through databases and international records, even contacting Interpol, but to no avail. Smartafan, the elusive country of his origin, remained a baffling puzzle.

An atmosphere of tension and uncertainty pervaded the airport staff. Questions of all kinds began to emerge in their minds. Who exactly was this man? What were his motives? Interestingly, the passenger responded to their inquiries in a cool and vague manner, which only escalated their unease and incredulity.

A renowned cryptographer was brought in to examine the passenger's passport and related documents. The meticulous analysis stretched from hours to days as the expert scrutinized every detail, hunting for hidden messages or cryptographic hints. A pivotal breakthrough occurred when a concealed code was discovered subtly integrated within the passport's watermark.
