The greedy stork

One day a stork walked with graceful steps along a small river in a village, his eyes staring at the clear river water, his long neck and beak ready to catch prey in the water for breakfast. At that time, the river was filled or crowded with fish that were swimming, but the stork felt a little arrogant that morning, seeing only mostly small fish that were swimming, on the way the stork arose in his heart.

"I don't want to eat small fish," said the stork in his heart. "Small fish are not worthy of being eaten by a graceful stork like me."

In the swing of the stork's steps saw a school of fish that were busy swinging their fins and tails only slightly larger than the previous fish, the school of fish passed near the stork.

"I also don't deserve to eat that fish" said the stork. "I won't bother myself to open my beak and eat a fish that big!" replied in his heart

The stork immediately went away from the school of fish, when the stork walked to meet its visitors, the stork did not realize, even though the sun was starting to rise and the conditions were getting hot, the fish that were in the shallow water near the edge of the river finally swam to move to the middle of the river which was deeper to find coolness. The stork did not see any more fish, either small or large, the stork was forced to eat and satisfy himself with small snails on the edge of the river even though there were already many schools of fish that could be used as food without having to eat animals that have shells. After the stork was free from starvation, the stork realized, "I wasted the opportunity" remember in his heart.
The greedy stork had to satisfy his hunger with snails.

Moral message:

This story teaches children not to be arrogant, because this trait will only harm, both others and themselves.
