Amidst the trees with verdant landscapes
In sight are the towering mountains that pierce the sky
And treacherous cliffs that seduced every man to sit at the edge -
A place that I long to roam
Leaving behind the world of chrome.

Enraptured by the sweet, sweet hymn of silence
And the surreal views of stillness
Accompanied by the soulful strains of indie.

More often than not
I long for that kind of rush
To withdraw from the narrative of monochromatic undertones
And to breakaway from the realm of dullness
To revel in solitude
With heightened senses.

A true dopamine in life that I seek
The kind that allows you to treasure the genuine artifacts of life
The kind that goes way beyond the eyes
Outside the chaotic and frantic lair
And to live in tranquil moments -
In a world of calmness and sublimity.
