Definitely, the impertinence of these Butterflies are to be blamed
for the heart that is in disarray and the mind that is muddled.
Its impertinence to muster the courage
and hold that Someone's hand, not wanting to let go
Its impertinence to want that Someone's smile and gallantry
Its impertinence to let Her lose all the reasons and be enthralled by Someone's voice.
Or perhaps, it is the audacity of Love that is to be blamed?
The audacity of love to melt down the walls that took years to build
The audacity of love to command that vulnerability be unveiled
The audacity of love to tear down the pride that was too tall to reach
The audacity of love to imbue the name of that Someone in Her mind
Or probably, it is the imprudence of Fate that is to be blamed?
The imprudence of fate to allow the person in Her to meet that Someone
The imprudence of fate to show the darkness in Her, never to change
The imprudence of fate that allows the person in Her to get hurt
And its imprudence to make Her hopelessly and irredeemably in love with Him, refusing to let go of the thread of what is over and done.

About the drawing: I thought it would be fitting to name her "Calypso" - a mythological goddess-nymph in Greek mythology who was enamored with Odysseus. While drawing this, I realized that I wanted to depict the eyes that convey emotions and feelings (and this is what I came up with 😊).
You take a lot of inspiration from classical mythology... Passion? Special interest? How do you feel about the Nordic gods?
Oh, I find the stories of the characters in classical mythology as bizarre and interesting. I tend to associate their characters as a representation of something which allows me to create a picture in my head and eventually a simple narrative about it.😊😊
For Norse mythology, it also caught my attention and It's also in my list. Probably, I will be making one soon about this.☺️
