It wasn't like I was writing Shakespear or anything, but at least I was doing something. Then days became weeks, weeks became months, and suddenly 20 years flew by in an instant. Hyperbole I guess, nevertheless that seems like a legitimate possibility, not just some joke.

Now I'm back to doing baby steps and feel like having to relearn how to speak, figuratively, which kinda makes it sound like I was having a stroke. A creative stroke, which... Yeah, that about sums it up actually.
