Contest of the week- TRUMPET

in Dream Steemlast year
I've dealt with loud, dictatorial bosses in my career. Those who are masters of boasting. They don't consider anyone worth a dime in front of themselves or don't listen to anyone. They just impose themselves on others. I hope you're getting me.

It's nothing new, as we all listen to people playing their trumpets loud and harsh. People like these believe they are the best or that no one is more capable than them. You must know that I stalk professionals on LinkedIn. So when I read the profiles of such bosses, I found a lot of data that sounded boastful and fell into the category of playing one's own trumpet.

Such experts were my boss and my general manager, whom my juniors also called dictators. My boss had a steely grip on our marketing department. He used to make every decision himself. He had such an attitude that we hardly gave him our suggestions.

You know, according to modern management, it has been proven that the work of a team working under such a dictatorial boss never succeeds. With the dictatorial attitude of the boss, his team's focus shifts to job-saving maneuvers rather than work.

But we believe that such bossy behavior can be controlled. It can be changed. Actually, they do this because they need three things. The first is that everyone's attention should be on him. The second is that everyone should flatter him, praise him, and flatter him. And above all, such people should feel safe while doing all this.

So I think my boss plays his trumpet and gets away from him. When I didn't flatter him, he used to feel insecure, and then his behavior would become a little more polite.

My point is that before changing a boss with such a selfish and dictatorial attitude, two questions have to be asked of him. The first is that does it matter to others' opinions, or do they want to change?

Whatever opinion others have about them, they should honestly listen and understand. The opinion of the closest partner can be the most important in this matter. Then a role model has to be found for such managers. Whose way of working has a deep impact on him. Whose work is liked by the dictator's boss himself? This role model can be explained by referring to the dictatorial boss as an example of change.

In the end, I say that any bigoted boss can be changed. It is not too late for him, provided he himself is ready to change.

They say that today's media headlines are littered with the antics of arrogant, bigoted politicians. Anyway, the nature of leaders is not to care about anyone's feelings. And nowadays, it seems to be the era of bigoted leaders. If you listen to the words of any world leader, everyone is playing his trumpet.

A good team leader should have good communication with his team. Often, people consider themselves better and more capable than others. This is where his humility ends. If people realize their shortcomings along with their goodness, then they will never adopt a dictatorial attitude. He will understand that being a team leader means serving his customers, his subordinates, his investors, and society at large. George says that dictatorial people do not realize their own value in the right way.

Such people are often seen boasting. It shows their insecurity about themselves. From the outside, they look better than others, but inside, they are afraid that someone might throw away their mask of being strong. With this, the truth of their weakness and incompetence will come to light.

I never had a boss. Probably never would allow one either.

For such characters, a friend of mine offers manager coaching: with donkeys. They calmly show the superman what he can't do ;-))
