Changes will do us good
Ester looked at the new house with a mixture of curiosity and anxiety.
They had recently moved to the new city, her husband had insisted so much.
He couldn't give up that job and had forced her and their two children to follow him.
They had argued a lot because the job was the same as before and also the salary and Ester didn't understand why making so much effort. Why did they move him? And he didn't even object!
Instead, she had had to quit her job and now had to start over. The children had to go to a new school and adjust to a new life as well.
He had urged them to embrace changes!
“It's an opportunity for growth, changes will do us good”, he said!
Ester began to organize herself, after a few attempts she found a new job, the children adapted and the new house became their home.
Both she and the children made new friends, maybe her husband was right, it was nice to start over. He, on the other hand, was always busy at work, increasingly elusive, he often came home late at night and never wanted to go out with them.
One day, Ester wanted to surprise him and went to pick him up at work, but she saw him hugging a woman.
Ester flew into a rage, but at the same time she was petrified and could do nothing.
In the evening she didn't have the courage to say anything and the next day he called her to warn that he would be late. But Ester decided to go to his workplace and watched from afar as he went out with that woman again.
Ester hired a private investigator, who took pictures and reports. He discover that her husband and the other woman had known each other for years. She was his colleague and they worked together, actually she was his boss. She had to move to the new city, that's why he wanted to follow her in a hurry and asked for the transfer.
Ester filed for divorce, obtained custody of the children, the new house, half of all his assets and alimony for herself and her children.
Her husband was furious, and while he was packing to leave home Ester told him: don't worry, changes will do you good!
