Being Successful

Hi lovely Steemians,
A have been very busy nowadays that I don't even get the chance to be sharing my thoughts with you guys and being a scorpio as we are naturally regarded as a psychologist, I have been meditating about success sometimes, I just want to let it out so feel like doing whatever it takes today to share it with everyone.

I may ask, what does power really mean to us? Why are most people willing to do whatever it takes to get it? Even if we are not aware of it, most of us seek to be in position of power because we have it in mind that, it will surely enable us to control our life situations. We believe power will get us exactly what we want : freedom and happiness.

Our society is founded on a deficient definition of power, which is; wealth, professional success, physical strength, political control, military might and fame. My beloved Steemians, my intuition always tells me there is another kind of power; it's mightier: the power to be happy in the present moment, free from addiction, fear, distress, discrimination, anger and ignorance. This is the birthright of every individual, whether celebrated or anonymous, rich or poor, strong or weak. Let us all explore this kind of power.

Apparently, all of us wants to be powerful and successful. But if our efforts to get and maintain power drains us and strains our relationships, we never truly enjoy our professionals or material success and it's simply not worth it. Living our life with happiness and having time to care for our loved ones...this is another kind of success, another kind of power, and it is very very important. In my opinion, there is only one kind of success that really matters: the success of transforming ourselves, transforming our visitation, anger and fear. This is the kind of success I'm talking about, the kind of power, that will benefit us without causing any damage to others.
