YOU ARE THE PROBLEM

There is a couple who started well when they were in relationship. But after their marriage, the husband started complaining about the wife. He pointed out so many things the wife done wrong, failed short of, etc.

One day he visited a friend of his in his house. While at his friend's house, he observed closely how his friend and wife were living in peace and harmony. They were always smiling at each other, no agitation, no complaining.

He admired what he saw. He called his friend and asked what the secret is. He asked what he did that the wife was that good. He complained that his own wife does nothing good for him. He pleaded that his friend should tell him the secret.

His friend smiled and accepted to reveal his secret to him. However, his friend said: "You will do something for me before I tell you that secret". The man said, "what is it? I'm ready to do anything". His friend responded, "okay, to determine how serious your case is, I want you to go back home and starting from today track everything good thing, big or small that your wife will do for the next 30 days. At the end of 30 days, bring your list for review. This will help me know how to assist you. Can you do this?"

The man answered, "of course, Yes". "Very well then, everything will be alright", his friend rest assures him. The man went back home and created a special diary for the assignment. After 30 days, he reviewed his list and was surprised at what he saw.

He went back to his friend and related his experiences to him. He told his friend, "Do you know that my wife suddenly changed? Ever since I started tracking her deeds, she changed! She is so good now"

His friend smiled and told him, "Your wife did not change, you did". The man asked, "How?" His friend continues, "You have changed your Focus. All the while, you have been focusing on her weaknesses and shortcomings that you couldn't see all the good things she has been doing. However, this time you have changed focus. Your wife has been good all the while my friend. Acknowledge it and appreciate her, then she will do more".

We always see what we look for in people. If you look for good, you will see them. And if you look for fault, you won't be disappointed as well.
