Drug:A substance which has a physiological effect when ingested or otherwise introduced into the body.

Drug abuse:is the excessive use of psychoactive drugs,such as alcohol,pain medications or illegal drugs.it can lead to physical, social or emotional harm.
The major types of drug abuse are:
Heroin
Marijuana

Effect of drug abuse on man

Kidney damage:the kidney filters excess minerals and waste products from the blood.
Heroin, synthetic cannabinoids can cause kidney failure.

Liver disease:chronic drugs and alcohol use can damage the liver cells, leading to inflammation and even liver failure.

Respiratory problems:drugs that man smoke or inhale can damage the respiratory system and lead to chronic respiratory infections and diseases.

Cardiovascular disease: stimulants such as cocaine and methamphetamines,can damage the heart and blood vessels.

From this study,we can across multiple factors which are the main cause of drug abuse in student include: depression, anxiety,peer pressure as well as personality disorder.
