How are you..? I hope you all are well. Today I am going to tell you about the harmful effects of smoking. Especially about the possible damage to our respiratory system due to smoking. It seems that many people in today's society are addicted to smoking, regardless of gender. Some smoke more than two or three times a day. Don't smokers really know about the harmful effects this? No. Even if they are aware of it in some way, they will not give up the that habit because of the psychological satisfaction that comes from smoking.

Smoking interferes with the functioning of the human respiratory system. The smoke that enters the respiratory system during smoking stimulates mucous production from the "Kalas cells" in the respiratory tract epithelium. Then the activity of the Pakshma in it is negation. This causes the mucus in the bronchus and trachea to accumulate and block. The condition that occurs then is called bronchitis. People with bronchitis have difficulty breathing.

Furthermore, this smoke contains powerful toxins such as carbon monoxide, nicotine, and tar. This carbon monoxide enters the respiratory tract and binds to hemoglobin. Hemoglobin is the respiratory pigment needed to transport oxygen. So carbon dioxide binds to hemoglobin which interferes with the flow of oxygen in the blood. In this case can also make it difficult to breathe.

The diagram above shows the damage to the lungs caused by smoking. The lungs of a healthy person of light pink and the lungs of smokers turn black. Smoking can cause lung damage, as well as oral cancer, esophageal cancer and heart disease. This is especially true of the respiratory tract. Excessive multiplication of cells in the respiratory tract epithelium can lead to abnormal cell filtration which can lead to respiratory tract associated cancer. This can lead to lung cancer and esophagus cancer. Smoking also destroys brain cells. When other cells in the human body are destroyed they grow back. But if brain cells are destroyed they will not grow back. Therefore, this affects the brain very adversely.

If a pregnant mother smokes it also affects the baby in her womb. The smoke can make a baby sick even before it is born. Smoke also enters the baby's body and interferes with the baby's respiratory function. It is a threat to the life of the unborn child. If women smoke, it increases the risk of uterine and vaginal cancers. So the best thing is to avoid smoking and stay healthy.

Being around a smoker even if we is not a smoker is like smoking. Because then the smoke enters our own respiratory system. Then even if we does not smoke we can still suffer from smoking related disorders. So it is better to stay away from smokers too.

The End.
