Multi Systemic Inflammatory Syndrome reports rise as modern COVID research adds to the bigger picture regarding Viruses
In recent weeks we learned of a discovery regarding the way a respiratory virus straight up hijacks and then manipulates our immune system to create 'Inflammation Storms', referred to as Cytokine Storms. These were described as our body being manipulated by the virus to signal an intense immune system response, to create an 'inflammation storm' which then chokes circulation and impedes many other bodily systems.

Currently, a group of medical discoveries regarding confirmation of virus caused inflammation attacks in every bodily system a la the name of this new culprit, 'Multi-system Inflammatory Syndrome' or MIS-C. Ok So there is a new kid on the block...well not exactly. The last year was not an easy ride and the unprecedented behavior seen in all facets of our society was also even more of the unexpected type, I guess. We were forced to explore the world we live in, and the Healthcare structure we operate under. So far this year it seems like the seams are NOT finished falling apart at the seems just yet.
So we are seeing the same symptoms that you would see in a adult with a respiratory affliction such as fibrosis or COPD, yet no source of harm to the lungs o create the damage. The fact a virus can cause the 'Cytokine Storms' which are also described as a massive multi-system inflammatory glitches now in children is refreshing. I sure do hope there is more research and soon to find more information about these newly discovered threads to pull on. The understanding being unveiled, if followed, would link a virus to most of the respiratory illnesses seen for decades that had been attributed to pollutants as well as foods and goods laden with Obesogens, and Carcinogens and Chemicals, the other big C. We for now will have to keep tracking the progress.
