Making History: Palm Sunday by @yuceetoria
Part I
The morning that gave birth to one of the most important day for Christians did not specify how the day would be like.
The Bethlehem's Donkey was bored and didn't know what to make of his time. He was still thinking when he felt a presence and turning to his right, he saw his Samaria Donkey friend.
"What do you think is going to happen today?" Samaria Donkey asked.
"I don't know, but I feel in my spirit that history is going to be made today"
"What do you mean"
"I feel different and elated, I think I am going to be an instrument for something, only that I don't know what it is"
"Hmmmmm, you have started again with your talks that don't make sense"
" It might not make sense now, but just watch and see. When people start talking about it, then you would know and understand".
"I would be on my way, good luck with your history making".
Few minutes after his friend left, he looked up and saw two men coming over to him and started loosing the ropes around him.
"What do you need the donkey for?" People asked.
" The master is in need of it" The persons answered. Bethlehem Donkey wondered who this master could be. After that they took the Donkey took the donkey to the Master.
Part II
The star blinked at the donkey so much that he had to bow his head in reverence to the Master. The Master must surely be an important person,he thought in his heart.
"Wowwww! Indeed you are the Master of all" He exclaimed. They presented the donkey before the Master and placed on the donkey a fine apparel for the Master to sit on.
Later in the day, the Master took rode into the city of Bethlehem on the donkey. The crowd saw the Master entering and wondered who the Man is. They realized that it was the King of Judah who was making an entrance, they immediately cut down branches of trees that were nearby and spread them in the floor, while some spread their beautiful materials of clothes.
The people shouted triumphantly “Hosanna to the Son of David!” “Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord!” “Hosanna in the highest heaven!” This act signified the entrance of someone important, A King.
The villagers were surprised and queried who it was that was entering the village
"Who is he?" They asked when their was an uproar amongst the people.
The crowds answered, “This is Jesus, the prophet from Nazareth in Galilee.”
The entrance is marked as one of historical event in the lives of Jesus Christ. The end of his ministry on earth after he was beaten abused and molested.
Sunday, 28 March is a day to be remembered and celebrated.
And thus he made his journey of eternal recognition.
