Self - Esteem...

Its fine to understand how you can use creative dissonance to help you solve problems and achieve goals, if you are tough enough to take the heat. But what if you lack the self-assurance to try.? A lot of us have felt devalued, insignificant, powerless to control what happens to us. If you feel that way, you will find it difficult to reach the next plateau because you think, I cant make it. Im not good. I dont have what it takes.

Self-esteem is what it takes and you can improve that the same way you can improve your self-imagine, through your own self-talk. Remember when I said, We limit ourselves by the way that we think? Well, if your attitude about yourself is devaluative and limiting. Im not smart enough. Im can`t do anything really well. No one would like me if they really knew me. Then you limit your ability to change and grow. Remember the attitudinal balance scale, and the premise that we move toward, and become like, that which we think about.? Well, if we dwell on being powerless and insignificant, our subconscious the perfect servant says, Okay, whatever you say. It adds heavy weight to your negative bucket, so you start leaning toward, what..? A negative, locked-on, limiting view of yourself as ineffective and powerless..? How do they feel about themselves.? What are they leaning toward.?

High performance people have high self-esteem. What is that.? Self-esteem is your confidence, satisfaction, and respect for yourself. It`s how good you feel about being you, its your positive feeling of dignity and worth. And it affects what you can achieve. We find that the better we feel about ourselves, the better we perform and behave. So you can talk yourself into being very positive, strong, firm, committed, powerful, assurred. You can talk yourself into taking risks, trying new adventures, learning new skills, extending yourself to new people, and new places. In fact, everything you do corresponds to your self-esteem.
