First and foremost, Weather is the daily condition of the atmosphere recorded for a short period of time. The atmosphere can have the same weather condition for minutes, days or even a week but it changes with in a short period of time. We have different types of weather like the rainy weather, sunny weather, cloudy weather, to mention but a few.
Here are some of the ways how weather affects our daily lives. On a rainy day, you will look outside and see few or no joggers taking on the morning or evening jogging but on a sunny or warm day, the streets will be covered with joggers. In the rainy weather people tend to put on heavy clothes, gumboots, umbrellas and so on while in the sunny weather, they love putting on light clothes like vests and caps to protect themselves from the hot sunrays.
Personally I like the sunny weather because it rarely interrupt with people's activities. You can freely move on a sunny day but moving on a rainy day can be hard as some people love sleeping when it's raining. That's enough for weather as of now! Let's talk about the seasons in the region where I come from.
I come from the central region of Uganda and that is Kampala. In my region we have two seasons, the wet season and the dry season. When it comes to my favourite season I will go with the dry season since I'm not a farmer. I like the dry season because it's in this season that I'm free to move and train for my favourite game, tennis. You can’t train comfortably in rain.
Much as this is my favourite season, the people in my region prefer the wet season. They love planting their crops during the wet season. One ritual they always perform is inviting rain makers to call rain for them so that their crops can get water.I stay in a community dominated by Baganda and these people always ritually celebrate the first Muganda (Kintu) by planting matoke since he also planted matoke in his days to make a feast for his ancestors.
Uptodate, everytime this community is to celebrate any function like marriage, naming, burrial and so on, matoke doesn't miss on the menu since it's considered to be their ancestral meal.
People in my community are always eager to receive the wet season because they not only grow matoke but also others crops giving them an assurance of food even when the dry season sets in. They always find difficulties in the dry season since they lack water for their crops and grass for their animals since some of them do small scale animal farming. I have shared with you a few points of how weather affects the daily life of people in my community. No doubt, the weather really affects the way we live and coexist amongst ourselves. There are more disruptions seen during the wet season unlike Dry seasons and in my place (Nigeria) we have more events hosted in dry seasons. Our dress code is most times determined by the seasons, our class of food is tilted to a side as well, and migration and habitation are also determined by seasons sometimes.

Yes dry seasons are the more preferred this side too as people get to organize plenty of events. I am glad to learn abit of the weather that side( Nigeria). 😊
On rainy day , i wish to keep laying in my bed and listen to the sound of rain striking against the terrace . I fe sad while coming out of bed .

Rain makers are witches. Who are believed to have supernatural powers to call forth rain. Sounds ridiculous but true.

It is nice to know more about your country Uganda through the weather from a daily luve perspectives. Your conditions there are similar with Cameroon's weather as we a belong to the tropics.
Hahahaaaah.... This is typical of a business man. Most business people tend to hate the rainy season as they can achieve their day's work without any hindrance from the rain
This is nice I have heard this from some parts of the world too and regions in my country. Rain is very important to farmers because without rain their will be no food at the end of a cropping season. I love this season too.

I see people in your area who like the rainy season very much. The rainy season must be a season of choice. Because at this time much more is harvested and people get all their problems solved. But when there is dry swelling, there is actually a lack of water, you are right. That's why I really like the rainy season. The presentation of your post was good. Thank you very much.
