Hello Community!

When you became a growing community most of the people try to make some plagiarized posts in the community because they think the community have no check over its members but that is totally wrong and we keep the record of each and every member and caught some doing plagiarism this week.

Plagiarized Posts In Community:

We are happy that the number of plagiarized post has been decrease a lot and this week we have got only one post.

What will we do if we find any plagiarists?

First warning:
Give polite warning to the person caught plagiarizing and hope that it will not be repeated.

Second warning:
The second time we label them as Under observation for two weeks.(mute them for two weeks from the community)

Third warning:
Mute them completely and down vote them strongly for their repeated plagiarism.

How to avoid plagiarism in your posts?

We can simply avoid plagiarism by giving the article or the photo we are using which is someone else property we will need to give proper source of that article. If we are using images from other places for example I am taking a picture from internet so to avoid plagiarism I will cite the image with a proper source and in this way we can avoid plagiarism. Being on steemit all you need to do is to be original and create your own wonderful ideas and write whatever you have of your own, avoid taking help from internet and avoid copying others work can help you stay away from plagiarism.

Quoting 

Well in my opinion, coating is one of the best ways to avoid Plagiarism in your post. You can use other sentences but you will have to quote The original sentences from their owner and will not make changes in it. because when you are getting something from someone else it means that you have to write it as it is and after that you can write your own sentences but the original sentences should be ported as it is without any changes because if you will make changes in it it will be considered as Plagiarism as you are trying to make it it different from the owners one and Creating your own sentence which is also a type of plagiarism  because you cannot use others idea because they have created it so you will have to give credit to them by quoting the original sentence in your post.

Text Citation 

Most of the time dead people use others work or we can say someone else sentences in their own post and consider that it is not plagiarism but When you use even a single sentence from someone is article is called stealing or open plagiarism, but then how can you to make it legal and not plagiarized so if you want to  use someone else sentence is you can just simply give citation to that text and event Philippe if you are providing a proper citation of the text then that text is not plagiarized but you have already shared that this is not yours but When you cite the text it means that you are providing the source in the start and that no one can question you to on using someone else sentences.

Please always provide proper citation to keep yourself away from Plagiarism otherwise there is a strict action against  those who do plagiarism and do not provide proper citation in the community.

If you want to use someone else's photo or maybe you like only one line from others work but you don't want to involve plagiarism in it you can simply cite the source of that thing by the following method.

I have copied this image from the internet and here is its citation. In this way you can use someone's photo but without being plagiarised and this is the easiest way of doing it.
