Good evening everyone,
Here is a picture of a vegetable called fluted pumpkin, "ugu" in Igbo language and "ikong ubong" in ibibio. It can be used to cook different kinds of delicacies including "vegetable soup" and "ofe owerri" a popular soup amongst owerri indegene, it can also be used to make vegetable sauce for eating cooked yam or plantain.

This Vegetable usually grows in the rainy season and it is usually cheaper during the rainy season . The image above shows a structure, the structure is used to help control the direction of the tendrils of the fluted pumpkin . It is made with bamboo sticks and some other dry sticks.

Here we have an aromatic herb "OCIMUM GRATISSICUM" also known as scent leaf. Asides from the flavour it adds to dishes it is known for its pain relieving qualities.
These vegetables are found in my garden they are very helpful as they help me save money
