Hello to everyone in this great community known as the Urdu Community I welcome you all to a new week alongside a great contest before us all. today I will be joining the ongoing contest that has been organized by the steemit engagement team. so I will be talking about the topic that has been given by this community engagement team tagged why and how steemit social media is different and better than other social media. so I will be providing adequate answers to the questions given. wish you happy reading.
Write about the social media you use the most daily and why is it beneficial for you or not?
This interesting question and I will say the social media platform that I use often is Facebook. the application is a great app where you can chat with people from around the world. it is open and free for everyone. no gender, age discrimination, one can equally learn basic things, and also the platform helps users to create pages for different purposes. there are many features of this application that have made it superb. we get to see daily news about the recent happenings in the world and how far the economy of various countries has either improved or depreciated. we also can create individual pages where we get to either educate other users on certain things or even advertise our businesses.
Is it beneficial or not?
yes, it is beneficial, especially learning from various users through this media platform has been beneficial to. it was through the Facebook platform that I got to learn about certain countries and their respective economic growth. we also get to chat with individuals from far and near this platform offers a certain free mode percent to users who ran out of data to keep chatting for free. so users can as well community with each other. it does not consume more data and as such made it one of my favorite social media applications.
Why do you think that spending more time on steemit than on other social media platforms can help you grow in life and benefit your life?
Vividly, I have checkmated other social media applications and their benefit, but I am yet to see the social media application that can benefit me more as the steemit platform does. the steemit platform is a platform that does not just give you a reward regarding the article you created but also helps one to be a passive reader and an active writer. it helps you to boost your writing skills and help you to be a good content creator. I have seen many people who came to this platform clueless, having nothing to talk about but as time goes by, they now create quality content regularly. that is what this platform does. it facilitates users to be creative and above all we get to learn from each other through engagement, visiting each other's posts, and airing our views. then afterward one gets rewarded. I often chat on Facebook, and other social media platforms and non has rewarded its users regarding creating content but the steemit platform does that every day.
So I prefer spending more time on steemit and learning certain things than just wasting my time on social media. if you take a good view, I often create content on this platform and I do get rewarded for it regularly, and I now look forward to becoming a writer in the future. that is because I have learned a lot in the steemit platform and it is far better and more beneficial to me than to lavish my time and energy on other social media platforms for just fun and cruise and then only you get to notice are your followers getting to a high number and that is all.
Compare Steemit with other social media platforms by talking about their advantages and disadvantages, and give example from your personal experience.
Okay, for this question, I will be highlighting the advantages first then I will later talk about the disadvantages.
The steemit platform is a decentralized platform where a user does not get restricted or suspended for anything else as the case may be, it possesses no higher authority to tell you to want to write about or what not to write about. the platform also do not have the authority or veto power over your account. while other social media application work on a centralized system where anything you do which go against their community rule will lead to your account being suspended or even deleted and as such one has no authority over that account. what you say and do are always noted and there are rules and regulations that you must adhere to before signing up.
The steemit platform helps and motivates users by rewarding them, and this is done when a user creates a qualitative and quantitative article that captures the eye of other users and is also seen as an informative article then that user get to notice upvotes on his article, so these upvotes are the rewards he will claim after seven days. while other social media have no attribute as this. they do not reward users for creating quality content either they benefit from their users by taking away their data provided they already launched the said application.
Beginners, regarding the signing up process, get to do a certain task as an achievement post and the majority of them get tired of this as though it is not that simple to do this task on their own. if no proper guidance, they will be discouraged. I could remember vividly when I was a newbie, it was so tedious for me to complete my achievement post as though the higher I go the more I get confused, I was about to give up but I then had someone who saw me through the process, while in other social media platform, we notice nothing as such, one is same as the people who are there for years. you need no experience before writing anything and it is as simple and brief.
Password recovery in steemit is impossible, when one loses his or her keys, that is the end of the road for that account as though we do not get to recover our keys and as well our earnings again because they are all gone. while in other social media platforms, there are several ways to recover your password if you eventually forget them so that is a disadvantage of the steemit platform.
CONCLUSION
I have to the end of my article regarding this engagement contest, the steemit platform is indeed a platform that assists users and helps build their writing skills and as well helps users to community and learn from one another.

Steemit is a social media platform that is different and upholds the community, plus the decentralization that characterizes Steemit that does not exist in centralized social media such as Instagram and Facebook. Thanks for sharing.
Yes Facebook is a very intresting platform because we can seen funny memes on it in our free time. But the issue is that facebook mostly suggest us friends of our area not for worldwide. If we want to make a friend of another country then we have to searched it. on the other hand on steemit we can read the articles of different countries peoples in different communities without searching.
