Hello my lovely steemians, hope you all are doing great? Its an amazing week of the Steemit engagement challenge and Am so happy to be part of it, I want to appreciate this community @urdu-community for this wonderful topic "How Steemit is different and better than other social media platforms" and also it's my first article on this community. So let's get started
Write about the social media you use the most daily and why is it beneficial for you or not?

The social media platform I use most daily is Whatsapp, Facebook, Instagram and steemit and it has been beneficial to me.
Whatsapp is a messaging app that is used to send messages to people around the world, video, file, documents, photos and calls etc. Whatsapp was launched in the 2009 by Brian Action and Jan koum which is now currently owned by Facebook. Whatsapp consume less data compare to other social media app like Instagram, Facebook etc. Whatsapp has alot of feature like starring messages, so you can refer back to it when necessary, status, is where you share content either photo, video or write-up and it only last for 24hours before disappearing and it can be viewed by people in your contact depending on how you set it, because it has what is called status privacy where you can set it like only my contact, share with the contact you only want to see your status and lastly everyone in your contact.
Whatsapp video call and voice call is another unique feature I love in Whatsapp, with Whatsapp video & voice call, I can communicate with anyone outside my country with less data via video or voice, Whatsapp stickers etc.
why is it beneficial to me
Whatsapp is so beneficial to me in various ways which as :-
Whatsapp has help me in sharing of information across to my friends, family and people around the globe by sending them direct message or creating a group chat.
There's safety in Whatsapp because it has end to end encryption, where your personal information can't be leak out by anyone, this is a great benefit to me.
For promotion of product, back then when I was an oriflamer I use my Whatsapp status to promote my product.
I make use of various social media daily but the most am glued to is Whatsapp and Steemit, if am on steemit reviewing article most time, am either on Whatsapp voice call and also replying pop-up messages, but the truth here is that Steemit still remain the best for me, because the benefit Steemit has given me can't be compared to any other social media.
Why do you think spending more time on steemit than on other social media platforms can help you grow in life and benefits your life?
Steemit is a social media platforms that rewards content creators with cryptocurrency called steem and it's built on Blockchain.
I joined Steemit January 13th 2022, when I started I felt like quitting but what kept me on, was Patience and the fact that it's a monetary platform which Whatsapp, Facebook and Instagram wasn't giving instead it was collecting my money through Data, I didn't really know much about the Steemit website then but as time went on, my activeness and consistency made me understand Steemit,also it made me to have knowledge about cryptocurrency, trading of crypto and investment.
No doubt through Steemit have been able to build my writing skills, which was a very difficult thing to me then.. with Steemit have been able to establish Good relationship with people around the globe through communication, with Steemit I was able to raise funds for my computer training school at Potis computer training institute Ekpan delta state and Steemit is still funding my tfare to and fro to the venue..
Steemit has been a blessing to my life because with Steemit have been able to help my family, friends and strangers.
Steemit has also help my imaginary thinking on how to be creative and also given me the passion to make research on things.
In the end compare Steemit with other social media platforms by talking about their advantages and disadvantages, and give examples from your personal experience.

| Transaction process | In Steemit individuals don't pay fees for doing transaction | in other social media you are charge fees for transaction |
| Keys | In Steemit an individual owned his/her own keys | In other social media keys are controlled by authority |
These are the few comparison between Steemit and other social media.
In conclusion
Steemit is my favorite website and its a decentralized system whereby there's No third party involvement to your investment, only the individual has the key/access to his/her funds. Isn't it wonderful? Yes it is.

Yes one good thing about steemit is that we cannot make a fake account on this platform because its verfication process is very strong. But on the other social media we can create many fake accounts that is a very big issue of centralized social media. Generally, it has been a blessing to us all, we generalize a lot of monetary value from the platform, it is understandable that we all use other social media platforms but within us we know which is best for use if our time is well spent of it
