Welcome to the Steemit family!
A happy place for all of the people around the world, here you can learn and earn in good ways. Today we will discuss about how can you setup your own profile on steemit for example,

• Update profile photo
• Update cover photo of your blog
• How to change your display name
• How can you edit your bio
• How to add your location to your blog

Let's get started!

When you sign up to steemit you profile will be empty and there your background will be black. To start setting up your profile what all you have to do is to go to settings in the top right corner of your profile.

Here you will see fields to be filled to complete your profile setup.

• You will have to upload your profile photo the way you upload your social media profile pictures. Click on the upload image button and select the image you want to put as your profile picture.You can upload your cover photo in the same way.
• Add your display name this will be shown on the top of your profile when someone visits your profile, remember user name and display name are both different.
• Now in the about filed you will have to put your bio, like want you like to do and about your hobbies etc.
• In the location field you will have to write your country region and set your location
• If you have any other website of your own you can put them there in the website field.
• When you finally complete all the fields now you will click on the update button and you are all done you have successfully completed your profile.
