کچھ رنگ تو ابھرے تری گل پیرہنی کا
کچھ زنگ تو آئینہء ایام سے اترے
ہوتے رہے دل لمحہ بہ لمحہ تہہ و بالا
وہ زینہ بہ زینہ بڑے آرام سے اترے
جب تک ترے قدموں میں فروکش ہیں سبو کش
ساقی خطِ بادہ نہ لبِ جام سے اترے
بے طمع نوازش بھی نہیں سنگ دلوں کی
شائد وہ مرے گھر بھی کسی کام سے اترے
اوروں کے قصیدے فقط آورد تھے جاناں
جو تجھ پہ کہے شعر وہ الہام سے اترے
اے جانِ فراز اے مرے ہر دکھ کے مسیحا
ہر زہر زمانے کا تیرے نام سے اترے
