Boat attractions
There are usually four scenic spots to take a boat on Tonle Sap Lake
- Kmpong Phhluk (about 1 hour by car)
- Mechery (about 1 hour by car)
- Kompong Khleang (about 1 hour and 30 minutes by car)
- Vietnam floating village (about 30 minutes by car)
The drive here refers to the time taken by a tuk tuk from Siem Reap city. Of course, if you are coming from Phnom Penh, you can arrange to go to Tonle Sap Lake first and then to downtown Siem Reap on the route.
Generally speaking, the Vietnamese floating villages used to be the most frequented by tourists in the past, followed by Khlong Banglu. As for Khlong Bang Kleong, because of the distance, fewer people will visit. Few people know about Mi Gillet, but today Mr. Angkor will introduce you one by one.

Go to the boat ticket office
If you are travelling from downtown Siem Reap, you can choose to take a tuk-tuk, the price is about: 25 tuk-tuk + 20 ferry tickets (person) = 45 yuan. It's about an hour's drive to Klong Banglu. Upon arrival, you will see the small house as shown in the picture below. There is a ticket booth selling ferry tickets. If you are coming by Tuk Tuk by yourself, remember to buy the ferry here ticket.
After buying the ticket, you still need to walk two hundred meters forward to take the boat. There is loess all the way.
