I was here before the hardfork, asked because Steemit needed good writers! We arrived with a group good, takented writers to write and be among the same motivated people..

Not one of the good writers I knew and know has ever been rewarded by posting by a whale, a bid bot or SC. Not a single one. Next to that it was very hard to receive comments like many artists noticed. And yes, the writer is an artist!

The result? They organised all kind of contests, published themselves with other writers and those who felt motivated to join
Not a single reward! Not a word of phrase nor critic. The result? Many left and this happened already before the hardfork.

A platform without critics/comments kills the artist.

The truth is there are many platforms fir writers where feedback is given and artists are even willing to pay for it! This is how the situation is. We cannot improve life if we are surrounded by death killing everything that sprouts.

There are still good writers, poets, artists but they hide, changed, because of this flood and all the rules. Like we all know a flood doesn't do any good.

Steemit could have had visibility years ago. The fact is that posts aren't visible on Steemit and NOT on the internet, old info only.

Those with expertise are killed and buried by the flood. A flood of trashy posts highly rewarded with the result even more is produced and all creativity and a person's authenticy were and still are mocked at!
AI users who can hardly read and write preach/ed how creative and good should look like?

Are you aware that justified text is very hard to read for someone with dyslexia? And if I look around me dyslexia increases. The same counts for people who never read a story let alone a book.

The flood of new Steemians didn't do this platform any good. It drains those who put the money together to be able to reward all those who don't like to read and write at all and never vote.
After many years the writing style didn't improve unless AI does the job and makes all posts look the same.

A writer comments because s/he loves to read and write and see something new.

Many with a high number of comments never wrote something personal.

5. Moderator reports and most are all the same. Not a single personal word is shed. Enough reason to not take the moderator seriously let alone the report.
6. AI generated comments!
   Comments giving a summary of what the writer wrote.
7. The same comment everywhere with at most a change of 3-4 words.

The value is?

All these comments are labelled as good, the users are called active and so on. We find them among the curators, SRs and it only makes me wonder how serious the Steemit Team is if it comes to improving the "quality" of this platform and make people read and comment better.

2. Creative is not recognised
3. Development is not recognised
4. The bet seems always to be on the wrong horse (high rewards - fat wallets - AI - no loyalty - dirty games - powerdown - starting new)
5. The lack of knowledge (who is.. and can move rocks and who are the frauds). Or is it ignorance or the easy way out?
6. Invisibility is created by unwritten rules and mass contests:

• communities with a topic are not supported
• the impossibility to find the same posts back (not even your own)
• the fight against wanting accounts to show a niche only
• the clubstatus force and discrimination where the only solution is to have a second account to be the wallet if you want to keep a clubstatus (you cannot actively invest, receive aid, pay prizes for contests hosted not even take your savings to power up!).

If it is too good to be true

It isn't true but a fraud.

This counts for many good writers. Five years after the hardfork we see a bit change to the better if it comes to real writing, niches and fun, a more relaxed atmosphere.
But the group of drilled unskilled posters with not a single grain of creativity is the result of what the Team has to deal with today.

If it comes to improving writing styles doesn't exist and is fought
I experienced that with #wewrite and #miner-wewrite.

It is impossible to make all those being drilled posting in a certain way change.
Most Steemians don't even know the importance of hashtags and this includes the "teachers".

No business can flourish and get famous by attracting as many as possible who basically lack everything this platform need and miss the awareness and motivation how to grow it and keep it running.

Many can be thrown in the arena to fight the giant, but only one is neede to kill it.

Steemit has plenty of accounts since that is what we are talking about. What it needs is good writers, people with passion who automatically promote the platform by their pressence.

What's in a name? In this case everything!
