My first mobile phone was a Motorolla and next I had Samsung but these were not smartphones. Next I had Samsung Duos but never understood how to have access to the internet. Next came another Samsung I started with on Steemit but now it refuses to connect with the internet very well and it can no longer load sites but it is still good as an alarm, for Telegram in case of need and to make phone calls (which I do perhaps once per year) 🤣
My present phone is a Samsung too. It's very slow which seems to be done on purpose by Samsung (apple does the same) so if it's finally broke or undoable I will go for a different one and NO Samsung. Never again.
My children have Motorolla and the phone didn't came with all the google and samsung apps eating all the memory.
I have stored my photos on a miniSD so if my phones gives up I still have them.
I believe it is possible to take the photos from your old phone. You should aak around if someone can do that for you. Perhaps if connected to a laptop?
I know I saved photos of my youngest on CD instead of printing them and after one or two years the computer could not tead the files 😡
I printed their photos again (asked family and friends) so they have an album which is a better choice.
