ACT OF KINDNESS #2: FEEDING THE STREET CHILDREN THRU MATRIX AND ALGEBRA!

The importance of the relationship between the community and the organizations working within the community is illustrated. Community service enables students to be active in their communities and has a lasting and positive influence on society as a whole. Community service or volunteering allows students to acquire and serve those who most want life skills and knowledge.

I, uses this as a Professor to enhance the virtual group activity in our subject Matrix and Vectors Algebra, in which the students compete individually and in groups in solving systems of linear equations in two and three variables, with the losing group conducting a community involvement extension activity.

Since Group 1 was the loser group, theactivities are organized and they plan to spend food in the Plaza near the Municipal Hall on street children. We meet at Jollibee Halang exactly 3:00 pm and order food. Then we went to Plaza at 4:00pm to sell food for children in the street.

This picture shows that we ordered 21 pcs of yum burgers, iced tea, and fries at Jollibee Halang. After receiving the orders we proceed to Plaza near at Municipal Hall to donate foods to street children. In this pictures it shows street children falling in line and we observe social distancing while conducting the activity.
