Bireuen Regency Government Commemorates 76th National Defense Day.

Acting Regent of Bireuen, Jalaluddin, S.H M.M represented by Plt Assistant III of the Regional Secretariat, Azhari, M.Si became the inspector of the 76th National Defense Day commemoration ceremony, Thursday (19/12/2024) morning, which took place in the field of the local Regent's office.

Plt Assistant III of the Bireuen Regional Secretariat, Azhari, M.Si in his direction read the speech of the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, who among other things said that the commemoration of National Defense Day held today is.

To commemorate the struggle that has been carried out by the heroes in defending the sovereignty of the country. Through the historic event of the Dutch Military Aggression II on December 19, 1948, the heroes showed their tenacity and efforts to reclaim the Capital City of Yogyakarta.

The city which at that time was a symbol of the government of the Unitary State of the Republic of Indonesia (NKRI).

The President before ending his speech also reminded that the task of defending the country is not only the responsibility of the Ministry of Defense, the TNI and the Polri alone. But it is the duty and obligation of all of us as all components of the nation.

"With the spirit of defending the country, I am sure we are able to face various obstacles and achieve the nation's ideals. Let us together present the best dedication to the nation according to our respective roles and professions," he said.

"National defense is one of the national goals of our nation, the goal of the Republic of Indonesia is to protect all of Indonesia's blood, all the safety of the nation, the people, all the wealth of the nation, and all the future of the nation. And that can only be guaranteed by a strong defense," said President Prabowo.
