Aceh Mahakarya Muhammadiyah University Holds Class II Graduation Ceremony.
Muhammadiyah Mahakarya University (UMMAH) Aceh held its 2nd Class Graduation in the Hj Fauziah Convention Hall, Bireuen Regency, Wednesday, June 12 2024.
The graduation ceremony was attended by 77 Diploma, Bachelor and Professional Program graduates, at the Open Senate Graduation Meeting for the 2023/2024 Academic Year.
The graduation activity was attended by Pj. The Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, Ph.D, representing the Head of LLDIKTI Region 13 Aceh, Drs. Muhammad Najib, M.Pd, and Chairman of the UMMAH Daily Advisory Board (BPH), dr. Athailah A. Latief, Sp.OG.
Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, in her speech told the graduates not to leave their parents who had struggled to get them to alumni level. He also asked the graduates to improve their quality, continue studying and continue their studies to Masters or Doctoral level.
"In the future, the competitiveness of the world of work will be very high, prepare and prepare to face it, namely with the knowledge and soft skills needed, never forget prayer because prayer will make every business we run smoother," said Aulia Sofyan.
He continued, the Bireuen Regency Government is ready to contribute to education to prepare a great generation in the future.
UMMAH Chancellor, Dr. Muharrir, Lc., M.Ag in his speech hoped that UMMAH graduates could become Muslims who always love knowledge and never stop seeking knowledge.
“In Islam, seeking knowledge has no limits on place and time. While you are still alive and have awareness, you are required to continue learning. "Knowledge is a tool for someone to achieve happiness in life in this world and the hereafter," he said.
Dr. Muharrir also reminded UMMAH graduates to be able to prioritize Islamic ethics in social life, and be able to become the nation's next generation who have intellectual abilities, also balanced with good morals as the key to future success.
"Lighten up and extend your hand to help the community, help the government which is actively building, implementing Islamic Sharia in a good manner and spreading peace in Aceh in particular and Indonesia in general so that a safe, secure, peaceful, just and prosperous society can be realized in "under the auspices of the blessing of Allah SWT," he stressed.
Meanwhile, Deputy Chancellor I, Academic and Student Affairs of UMMAH, Firmawati S.Psi., M.Pd explained that the UMMAH graduation ceremony this time had succeeded in producing 77 graduates consisting of 45 DIII graduates, 24 Bachelor Degree graduates, and 8 graduates Profession.
Furthermore, Firmawati added that of the 77 graduates, 29 of them graduated with cum laude honors.
"With the addition of 45 diploma program graduates, 24 first degree graduates, and 8 professional graduates, the number of alumni at Muhammadiyah Mahakarya University in Aceh currently stands at 139 graduates," he said.
Apart from that, the Firm also explained that UMMAH should feel proud because of the 77 graduates, one of them is now able to compete in the world of work and on the international stage.
The firm said the graduate was named Reka Desiana with a bachelor's degree in Nursing who currently works as an elderly care worker at the Syakai Fukushi Houjin Seijukai agency, Japan.
"We also feel proud when we learn that one of our alumni who graduated today is now able to compete in the world of work at the international level. The graduate is Reka Desiana, a Bachelor of Nursing graduate who currently works in Japan as an elderly care worker. "Today Reka is represented by her mother, Mrs. Maryana M. Amin," he said.
This activity was attended by 77 graduates consisting of 6 study programs and 2 faculties, with details from the DIII Nursing Study Program as many as 43 participants, 12 people from the Bachelor of Nursing Study Program, 8 people from the Nursing Profession Study Program, 6 people from Economic Education, 3 PKN and Psychology Bachelor's Degree. 2 persons. Meanwhile, there were 25 graduates who graduated with Cum Laude Predicate.
The graduation ceremony was attended by Forkopimda which included the Acting Regent, Prosecutor's Office, Police, Bireuen Regency Representative Council, PPNI, Head of Banking, Director of PT Takabeya Perkasa Academic Community Group and all parents of graduates and postgraduates.
