Steem SEA Contest (Part 48th): Photography Contest- Planet Positive | Coastal Clean-up Drive @jufranketchup
Hello Steemians. How are y'all? Hopefully that you are always doing great. Before the month of September end, here I am again in this community to make an article about what we did lately in the morning. We did coastal clean-up in one of the seashore here in our town which is located beside the People's Park in Pusok, Lapu - Lapu City, Philippines.
Together with our very own Philippine National Police we make an effort to clean and remove trash in the ocean. And as a private individual like us we also extend our efforts as a sign of voluntarism and to help maintain the cleanliness of our ocean to preserve the living creatures lives in it.
No one else can help to clean but us, because we, the people, are the only one who put trash everywhere especially to those people who don't have a discipline where to put trash properly. We always remember that the discipline starts for ourselves.
Before we go to the area where we can collect trash, debris, broken glass and etc., the police officer conduct first a short briefing and giving sacks whete we can put the trash.
Every piece of trash we remove reveals something beautiful because as a private individual it's a good pleasure for us to have a contribution in this world even if it is little and we can see that being a volunteer to the community is a big help to the local government to make their works easier and a having a manpower.
In our picking up trash we are very happy and soothing to feel that we were part to save and protect our planet from pollution especially in the water or ocean. So that, in the next generations they can feel and experience the beauty of nature that God created.
Then, as we finished collecting garbage and the surrounding of the seashore was clean, we gather all the garbage that we collected and we were very satisfy as we saw all the sacks that full of any kind of trash.
While waiting for the garbage truck to arrive for proper disposal of the trash and will never return again in the ocean, we put the trash near the gate so that it's easy to collect to the garbage collector.
And after all, we washed our hands with soap and running water to ensure that we were free from germs that we got in the trash.
That's all for today guys, I hope you enjoyed reading my article. And I challenged you everyone who are reading this article that you may please do your part as a tourist in this world to help our planet free from pollution or any other possible that can make damage in it.
I want to thank the contest team that was led by @nazarul and his assistants @radjasalman, @anroja, @el-nailul, and @herimukti. Without y'all this contest will not happen and thank you for teaching us to make good quality content.
