Hi @steemsea community, this is my journey with my garden and I want it to shared with you, A few days ago I was looking for a project to do and I found how to paint glass bottles to use them as small pots for plants, after spending hours and hours and hours rambling on I went to look for the bottles that I had collected some time ago in the section where I live that has a lot of trees and bushes and among them making photographic content and videos they found the bottles, to get them out was an arduous and laborious process since they were not within practical reach, I had to put my hand in and sometimes walk through the undergrowth high to find and collect the bottles but in the end I got it or so I thought after me he asked and how the hell am I going to take them, I had no choice but to shit 2 bottles first since I had my camera, cell phone and a plastic bottle with water and I didn't have a bag or something to put them in so with 2 bottles I went to my house I left everything and took a bag and came back for the batch I had left. After arriving with the rest of the bottles I started to wash them to remove all the dirt they had inside and outside, once clean I went to get my painting utensils and the paints to start, but I ended up getting angry with myself because I didn't have a single painting I had spent all of them on another project so I arm myself with patience and went out to buy them, since I didn't have cash for the bus ticket I had to walk and he was just burning my thoughts uff it was hot hellish but I still walked to buy my paintings. Already in the commercial area where they sell them, I began to go from store to store and to top it off they did not have the brands of paints and colors that I was looking for, although I ended up buying other things that I needed for this project and for future projects, what I needed most was not I got it, walking back I thought about sending a WhatsApp message to a group in the urbanization where I live to try to find the paintings, for 3 hours I was asking and nothing, by the time I gave up, I decided to go out and buy myself in a mini market near my house something sweet to pass my frustration and that I think I found the happy paintings and of many colors, I bought the ones I wanted or a lot of other things. When I got home I got ready to start the painting process and little by little I was painting different colors and different patterns using the sectangle technique, I took my time to make them and when I realized it was already too late and they were still missing pour the soil and transplant the plants.

Once the paint is dry, we must give the container a minimum of 3 layers of paint of any color, because of its material, some will need more layers than others. Once the base paint dries, we choose the color or colors we want. I mixed various techniques from sparking, to brushing which consists of "brushing" with a brush with very little paint, another color and giving it depth.

Again, once everything was dry, I resorted to the zectangle technique that is so fashionable, especially in containers for cacti and succulents, since they do not have a hole underneath because they are made of glass, for example, they will not be exposed very often in the water.
❤️

And here we come to an important point: why a garden only of succulents and cacti? Well, very good question. Since paint sealer is so expensive, I need plants that don't require constant watering. On the other hand, I want them in the front of my chume, it gets a lot of sun there, they are low-maintenance and adapt perfectly to moist soil and containers without drainage, they are very low-maintenance.

I also included wild flowers, pine and the flower called ixora because they are sunny plants that also need little water and maintenance. In this video you can see how my process was:

How I did it

I need many more to fill all that space! I will show you the process, at the moment I am practicing new techniques to make more variety. All the photos in this article belong to me, they were taken with my Android Infinix note 10 and edited using snapssed app.

Oh wow! This is such a great idea!
Just the right activity to keep kids busy this school holiday.
Not only did you create something usable out of recycling material but you also had a lot of fun.
Thank you for sharing!

Thankyou very much, but I I have a lot of easy affordable recycling things that I'm making to share!
