STEEM.AMAL OFFICIAL REPORT: MT. SEMERU ERUPTION EMERGENCY RESPONSE

Mt. Semeru is a volcano mountain located at two regencies which are Lumajang and Malang, East Java Province. Semeru erupted on December 4th, 2021, its cold lava destroy thousands of houses and force the survivor to live in the refugee camp.

Steem.amal with a small budget is participating in helping them to get basic nutritious food for those in need. It is part of the Disaster Support Program which has been initiated about 3 months ago. Since the third party is involved in the steem.amal implementation program, we can implement the major programs across the Indonesia archipelago.

Especially for the Semeru Emergency Response as a part of the Disaster Support Program steem.amal has allocated IDR 110,000,000. This program aims to provide healthy food in the refugee camp/concentration. It is needed the huge resource of volunteers, but the steem amal has had an agreement (MoU) with a very reliable local NGO namely ACT (Aksi Cepat Tanggap) that has run the Public Food Services in the disaster-affected area. The MoU between steem amal and ACT was signed on April 4th, 2021 for 3 years.

Steem.amal has transfer first donation to ACT official bank account as much IDR 50,000,000 and the second donation will be transfer on December 16th, 2021 and the last IDR 10,000,000 will be transferred on December 17th, 2021. This transfer is due to the limit transfer from @anroja account.

• Next program planning

Steem.amal has also plan to support the recovery program for Semeru Eruption Disaster with the resource and financial, although the initial program will be implemented as usual as well.

The emergency response budget will be increase accordingly as needed for normal emergency response such as fires and flood which is often occur in Aceh and somewhere else in Indonesia.

The amount of the emergency budget will be plotted as the category of the Emergency and or disaster itself.
