Nasriah medical assistance

Since the wheelchair program was launched on April 18th, steem.amal has purchase 1 unit wheelchair for Nasriah medical assistance. The wheelchair was bought in Lhokseumawe by @ayijufridar and @fwinanda. They are part of steem.amal board member in Lhokseumawe. Thank you very much for both @ayijufridar and @fwinanda for your assistance.

Brand new wheelchair for Nasriah, we wish her happiness and will recover soon

The wheelchair was sent to Pidie Jaya by @radjasalman and it was received this evening by myself as I am on duty in Pidie, Pidie Jaya, and Bireuen regency for a couple of days. This wheelchair is for Nasriah for her medical assistance since she is in serious illness which is recognized as Diabetes Mellitus type 2 and already causing gangrene. We hope what steem.amal has done will influence others to do the same in their area. Like the latest post of @anroja on this link:

The survey was conducted on Sunday, April 18th by @anroja @nazarul, @herimukti, @ikhsan01, and @najie. This verification survey was for identifying the basic necessities that Nasriah needs. The conclusion of the survey was discussed and the action which will be taken are:

• Providing wheelchair for Nasriah which has been purchased and already in Pidie Jaya for distribution
• Assist her to the hospital for appropriate medical treatment
• Providing nutritious food for her better nutrition

The wheelchair that steem.amal will support is including her basic need and it is one of the supports that we will provide to her.

She is enduring the pain when the nurse clean her wound, it has been 8 years without proper treatment

This wheelchair is the first one out of five wheelchairs allocated for the paralyzed patients. The next wheelchair will be purchased within this week.

Burning house survey in Nisam

Another bad news appears on my WA chat yesterday evening as one house in Nisam North Aceh been fired to the dust. Hence, today our steem.amal team went to the location to conduct an assessment for identifying the kind of emergency response the steem.amal will take part in.

Today our steem.amal team went to the location and collect some information as below:

1. The social department of Indonesia has sent their officer to conduct an assessment and will support their necessities

2. The deputy of head of regency also has visited the location and will provide support where necessary

3. The steem.amal team have given some cash for supporting the family as part of our cares to the emergency situation

The conclusion of the identification of our survey team in the field as below:

• steem.amal will hold the action for a while, and will seek the necessary action that needs to be taken in the future
• steem.amal will review the situation for the next response in case there is some requirement of assistance in the future.
