The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, Ph.D, represented by the Head of the Islamic Sharia Service Dr H Jufliwan SH MM, opened the Bireuen Regency level Hajj ritual, which was assembled with Peusijuk (plain flour), Monday (6/5/2024) morning , at the Sultan Jeumpa Grand Mosque.

Head of the Bireuen Regency Ministry of Religion (Kakankemenag), H Akly, SAg MH, in his report said that the district level Hajj ritual was held for two days from Monday - Tuesday 6-7 May 2024, attended by 421 Hajj pilgrims from 17 sub-districts consisting of 159 men men and 262 women.

Bireuen Hajj pilgrims will depart for the holy land of Mecca in two stages with two groups, namely, 2 BTJ groups, altogether 385 Bireuen Hajj pilgrims, one person postponed their departure due to illness, in the name of Rizka Alfinda Utami, Gampong (Village) Geulanggang Baro, Kota District Juang, enter the hostel on May 29 2024 at 19:00 WIB, depart May 30 2024 at 18:50 WIB.

Then, BTJ group 9, 36 pilgrims joined Hajj pilgrims from Aceh Tamiang 179, Langsa City 162, North Aceh 4, and East Aceh 3,
Entering the hostel on June 6 2024 at 08:00 WIB, leaving June 7 2024 at 03:35 WIB.

Of the hundreds of Hajj pilgrims, the two youngest pilgrims are Muhammad Farhan Nauwal, 22, from Gampong Matang Sagoe, Peusangan District, and the oldest pilgrim is Tihasanah Usman, 95, from Gampong Ulee Blang, Jeunieb District, explained Head of Ministry of Religion H Akly, SAg MH.

The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan PhD, represented by the Head of the Islamic Sharia Department, Dr H Jufliwan SH MM, in his speech, among other things, hoped that the pilgrims' pilgrimage would depart soon.

Bestowed with ease and safety and blessed by Allah SWT. "Hopefully all the preparations that have been made can provide benefits and comfort for all Hajj pilgrims," he added.
