TP-PKK Chairman Opens B2SA Competition and All-Fish Menu followed by 23 Villages.

Women from 23 Gampongs (Villages) in Kota Juang District, Bireuen Regency, Aceh Province, enthusiastically took part in the Variety, Nutritious, Balanced and Safe (B2SA) and All-Fish Menu competitions.

This activity was opened by the Acting Head of the Family Empowerment and Welfare Mobilization Team (TP-PKK), Dr.

The competition was initiated and held by the TP-PKK Kota Juang District in commemoration of the 52nd PKK Unity Movement Day (HKG) in 2024. The results of the jury's assessment showed that seven villages won the competition to increase the creativity of mothers in providing menus for their families to consume.

Chairman of the Juang City TP-PKK, Dr Ermasari, said that the B2SA competition was attended by 11 gampongs, and the all-fish menu was 12 gampongs, followed by 12 gampongs for two participants from each gampong, the menu costs IDR 200 thousand, namely breakfast, lunch and dinner, good for father, mother and child.

Head of Juang City Subdistrict, Musni Syahputra, SIP MEc.Dev said, some time ago the Juang City TP-PKK team won the Bireuen Regency level championship. So that understanding regarding B2SA and the all-fish menu should not only be understood by TP-PKK at the sub-district level.

"We have agreed with the Juang City TP-PKK to hold this activity which aims to provide understanding and education regarding B2SA and the all-fish menu to the village government," he explained.

Furthermore, it is hoped that TP-PPK can apply it in each gampong because TP-PKK and the gampong government are at the forefront in handling stunting in gampongs.

Later, TP-PKK mothers, in collaboration with the health team, will provide additional feeding (PMT) for beneficiaries such as pregnant women, breastfeeding mothers, malnourished and malnourished children and others.

Subdistrict Head Musni Syahputra also hopes that each family in Juang City can provide a B2SA menu. "So that our children do not consume unhealthy food, causing children to become malnourished and also get diseases," he concluded.

Acting Chair of the Bireuen Regency TP-PKK, Dr Dr Nova Dian Lestari, hopes that mothers can provide a variety of menus and that innovations will be made so that families do not feel bored eating the food served at home.

"So don't just keep frying fish and boiled vegetables, but there are creations to serve more interesting menus, including for children, so that they like to eat and eat vegetables to make them healthier," he added. The activity was also attended by the Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, PhD.

"I hope that with this competition, mothers can innovate, be creative so that healthy foods from fish and vegetables are processed in a healthier and safer way, so that they are safe for consumption by their families, as well as for children, as an effort to prevent stunting," he said.

Meanwhile, data was obtained, the winners of the competition, namely, 1st place in the B2SA competition was won by the Gampong Bandar Bireuen team, 2nd place was Gampong Cot Jrat, 3rd place was Gampong Bireuen Meunasah Tgk Digadong.

1st place in the all-fish menu competition, 1st place in Gampong Geulanggang Baro, 2nd place in Gampong Bireuen Meunasah Reuleut, 3rd place in Gampong Cot Gapu, then the B2SA favorite winner was Gampong Bireuen Meunasah Capa.
