Hundreds of Civil Servants (PNS) in the ranks of the Bireuen Regency Government (Pemkab) starting from various Regency Work Units (SKPK), sub-districts including Village Secretaries (Sekdes) in Bireuen, Monday, 8/7/2024, packed the Sultan Jeumpa Grand Mosque in Bireuen .

The presence of state servants generally wore uniforms following the remembrance and prayer together to commemorate the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram 1446 H which was carried out by the Bireuen Islamic Sharia Service.

Civil servants almost simultaneously filled the mosque complex. Then entered the mosque following a series of remembrance events guided by H Jufliwan SH and other elements.

The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan PhD, represented by the Bireuen Regency Regional Secretary (Sekdakab) and other elements of the Regional Leadership Coordination Forum (Forkopimda) were also present.

Mothers generally enter the mosque and some sit outside the mosque to participate in the collective remembrance.

Head of the Islamic Sharia Service, Dr H Jufliwan SH MH said, dhikr, joint prayer are also tausiah. The sermon was delivered by Ustaz Tgk Ir H Tarmizi M Thayeb MBA from Palembang.

It was stated that the aim of holding joint remembrance activities was to improve the quality of faith and devotion to Allah SWT through learning knowledge or deeds of worship.

"By gathering like this, we can strengthen ties between Muslims regardless of rank, position and class. We also reaffirm the importance of implementing noble morals in life based on the Koran," he said.

The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, PhD, who was represented by Regional Secretary Ir Ibrahim Ahmad, in the activity was attended by relevant officials, the head of the SKPK and employees of the Bireuen Regency Government, religious figures, among others, said that hopefully this meeting will be blessed and blessed by Allah SWT.

"Today we will carry out dhikr and tausiyah in commemoration of the Islamic New Year 1 Muharram 1446 H/2024 AD, where we carry out this activity routinely every year.

"I hope that all the congregation can attend this event solemnly until the end," he said.

Hijrah is something that is very fundamental for Muslims throughout the world. Because this hijrah event is the beginning of the Islamic calendar called the Hijriyah year, it is a flashback of the Prophet's struggle in facing the Quraish infidels.

"I invite the people of Bireuen to take a lesson from the example given by Rasulullah SAW during the hijrah event.

"The hijrah process then became the beginning of the glory of Islam in various corners of the world," said the Regional Secretary.

"Hopefully through this remembrance we can strengthen our faith and devotion to Allah SWT, and can also strengthen unity and establish friendly relations between all of us in Bireuen Regency which we are all proud of," concluded the Regional Secretary.
