Acting Regent Expects Peusangan Raya Regional Hospital to Be Operational in Early 2025.

The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, PhD, hopes that the Regional Technical Implementation Unit (UPTD) of the class D Regional General Hospital (RSUD) Peusangan Raya, Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency, will be operational in early January 2025.

As a commitment from the Bireuen Regency Government today, Tuesday (16/7/2024) afternoon the construction process began, marked by the installation of stakes at the location where the radiology building was being built, funded by the 2024 Aceh Special Autonomy Fund (DOKA), amounting to IDR 2,307,930,000.

The Acting Regent of Bireuen, Aulia Sofyan, said that the process of building the radiology or x-ray building must go through various processes. After the auction was completed today, construction has started and is expected to be completed in November 2024.

The Acting Regent continued, after the radiology building is completed, the next step will be to arrange permits from the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes), visitation and also collaboration with the Social Security Administering Agency (BPJS) for financing. "God willing, in January 2025 the Peusangan Raya Regional Hospital will be functional," he said.

The Acting Regent also ensured that human resources (HR) or health workers at the Peusangan Raya Hospital were ready and would just have to be moved or placed, said Aulia Sofyan.

Head of the Bireuen Health Service (Kadinkes), Dr. Irwan, said that basic facilities such as the radiology building are starting to be built today and after completion, there will be rehabilitation of the polyclinic and administration rooms.

Hopefully the requirements for a class D hospital can be met, and we can immediately apply for an operational permit to the Bireuen Regency One Stop Integrated Licensing Investment Service (DPMPTSP).

"We hope to be able to issue an operational permit by the end of 2024, and after obtaining an operational permit, then register with the Ministry of Health so that it can be registered because of the operational permit registration requirements," explained Dr. Irwan.
