Acting Governor of Aceh Appoints Three Acting Regional Heads.

Acting (Pj) Aceh Governor Bustami Hamzah appointed three Acting Regional Heads (Pj), the three regional heads who were appointed were Acting Mayor of Banda Aceh Ade Surya, Acting Regent of East Aceh Amrullah M Ridha, and Acting Regent of Bener Meriah Mohd Tanwier.

The taking of the Oath of Office as well as the Inauguration took place in Anjong Mon Mata, Governor of Aceh, Sunday 14 July 2024, at 11.00 WIB.

Ade Surya currently serves as Head of the Aceh Irrigation Service. Furthermore, Amrullah M Ridha, currently serves as Assistant Deputy for Government Infrastructure at the Deputy for Border Area Infrastructure Management at the National Border Management Agency of the Republic of Indonesia (RI).

Meanwhile, Mohd Tanwier currently serves as Head of the Aceh Industry and Trade Service.

Acting Governor of Aceh Bustami said that as Acting Governor of Aceh, one of his duties is to coordinate and provide guidance to district/city governments.

"I remind you to carry out your responsibilities as best as possible, so that the development movement in the area you lead runs well," said the Acting Governor.

Bustami also advised the officials to build a solid work team so that the best programs that had been running previously could continue.

"You also need to pay serious attention to efforts to reduce stunting cases in your respective regions, because stunting greatly affects the quality of human resources for Aceh's young generation in the future," said the Governor.

The Acting Governor explained that the process of replacing and extending the term of office of the Acting Regional Head was in accordance with the applicable legal mechanisms and regulations. Thus, starting today the Acting Heads have officially become Acting Regional Heads in their respective regions.

"As Acting Governor of Aceh, one of whose duties is to coordinate and provide guidance to district/city governments, I remind you to carry out your responsibilities as best as possible, so that the development movement in the area you lead runs well," said the Governor.

He also advised Acting Regional Heads to continue optimizing TPID performance to anticipate inflation. Therefore, Bustami reminded food distribution to be paid attention to, so that annual inflation remains at a stable figure.

"Anticipation for disasters must also continue to be prepared, it is important for us to continue to carry out cross-sector coordination so that everything runs in one cohesive unit," he said.

The governor also advised regions that will hold the National Sports Week (PON) to prepare themselves to host it as best as possible.

"For areas where PON will take place, prepare yourself well so that the implementation of PON can be successful where we have been appointed as hosts for Aceh and North Sumatra," said Bustami.

"Apart from that, the Acting Governor said that the process of stages and implementation of Regional Head Elections (Pilkada) in their respective regions should run smoothly, so that people can channel their political aspirations honestly, fairly, safely, peacefully and democratically," said the Governor.

On this occasion, the Governor also advised the newly appointed Acting Officers to foster harmonious communication with the parties, especially with the legislature, judiciary, ulama and elements of society, in order to maintain political stability and regional security.

The Governor believes that a safe and controlled situation and conditions will have a positive impact on development activities that will run smoothly.

Apart from that, the Governor also advised the newly appointed Acting Judge to run the government system in a transparent, accountable and law-abiding manner.

"Efforts to ensure that the APBK can be implemented on time, so that the development movement can start earlier. "Don't forget to improve all administrative systems so that they are well organized and managed," said the Governor.

After the inauguration of the 3 Acting Regents/Mayors and handing over the Decree on extending the term of office to the Acting Regent of Aceh Besar and the Acting Regent of North Aceh, the event continued with the inauguration of the Acting Chair of the TP PKK, the Posyandu Trustee and the Acting Chair of the Dekranasda for the City of Banda Aceh, East Aceh and Bener Meriah, by Acting Chair of the Aceh PKK TP Mellani Subarni.

Mahyuddin, M.Si, Assistant for government affairs of the East Aceh Regional Secretariat, Syahrizal Fauzi, S.STP, M.Ap, Assistant for General Administration T.Reza Rizki, SH, M.Si, Chairman East Aceh DPRK, Fattah Fikri, East Aceh Police Chief, S.STP, M.AP, Representative of the East Aceh District Prosecutor's Office, East Aceh Dandim, Head of Government Secretariat Muliadi, and a number of other important guests.
