My Wonderful Travel At Naawan Misamis Oriental
There are many ancestral and old homes can be found in this town and one of this is this old house located at Barangay Poblacion Naawan. According to the elders resided near at this place, this was been built late 1980's during world war ll and this was serve as a hospital areas to all injured soldiers during the war. This place was already preserved now-a-days, perfect place for taking pictures and we can imagine how beautiful the old generation was.
Near at the old house was this gree and relaxing place. It was covered with many big and tall trees and it was very perfect for taking adventure. Many people loves to visit this place because according to them, it is very refreshing. Some of the trees can be found here was this big acasia tree, there are also manggo trees and mahogany trees. The residents of this place don't want to cut this trees down so that the place will remain its beauty and avoiding of extremely heat brought by the heat of the sun.
Fish Port is one of the main source of income here in this town and because this place is near at the sea, some of the residents goes for fishing and brought in here. Many buyers from different areas were also arrived in here and choosed a fish which one they like. They also did trading , buy and sell. The local buyers buy the fish and sell it again to other town or areas. The port was consists of many tables, chairs and even ice froster because this is very important to the fish.
To maintain the peace and order of the place particularly in the coastline, the town conducted and implemented some personels to help securing the areas. With the help of this speed boat, they can navigate or sail to the sea anytime when there is a problem just like ileggal fishing just like using dynamites. They let the boat floating to the sea but they tied it up in the big stone so that it will not flash away due to high tides and or rough waves.
This was an old port and many kinds of boats was been here import and exporting goods from different places. But as the days and years has passed, the place was completely abandoned but many people were went here to do fishing. Because of the deep water, there are many kinds of fish can be found in here and sometimes, children are also enjoying and having fun swimming in this old port.
This is what we called Boulevard or bay walk to some people called this name. Everytime when there is an activities, they held in here and last day they was a big disco happens in this place. Every afternoon specially when there was a beautiful sunset, many people will went here taking more pictures about the seascapes, sunset and also this baywalk.
Naawan was slowly in progressive town and because of that, they constructed this big names of the town with the use of concrete. Many people wants to take pictures together with their families and friends here in this area. Some of them was came from far away place to have a souvenirs of the place they went.
This town consist of old church just like this one. This is the San Isidro Labrador Church and it has been built late 1901 this is also their patron and the celebrated their town fiesta every month of July.
Burger and Halo-Halo is very popular here in this town and even it is slightly expensive, many people are still buying this kind of delicious snacks. I also brought this two delicious snacks so that I can tasted how delicious it is.
