Sharing you today another plant we have at home. We call it here in the Philippines as "gabi" plant. As I tried to find out its English word, there are actually different names in English, such as elephant's ear, cocoyam or taro root. We planted this 9 months ago and it also took us the same time of harvesting it. This kind of plant also reproduces on its own so it didn't take us too much effort in planting but we are able to harvest more.

After constant watering and nurturing the plant, we have reaped some of it. We cooked it by adding it to the pork as our viand. We also boil it since my old father like to it eat boil as it helps him in his digestion.

Being sorrounded with plants help ease the worries I am feeling cause of this unexpected health crisis. Aside from so many benefits these have given to us. That is why, I continually do the planting together with my children so they would also understand the value what it has given to us.
I guess that would all for now. I am so much thankful to Steem SEA, contest organizers and to all curators for a continuous bloom of Steem SEA Contest (Part 45th) where everybody could share the good sides of life at this times of difficulty.

Thanks for taking time as well in visiting my post.

Truly,
