Grow Your Own I "Vegetables at School"

A bright and a blessed day to all steemian friends! How are you all doing? Hoping everything goes well. Here in the Philippines, it's a bit rainy, but still feeling blessed for every day I see a good life through my family and friends' faces.

I am glad this contest continuously gain its support to all contest organizers and curators to promote great things which are happening now at this trying times.

Sharing you today, a little garden at school which teachers and parents helped to come up with this "gulayan sa paaralan" project or vegetables at school. Since the start of pandemic, students need to do all school task at home. We also promote "vegetables at home" where students are encouraged to this by their own to learn the good value they could get through planting.

This school, with the effort of volunteered parents and teachers, planted more on "pechay" or this is commonly used as Chinese cabbage or just merely cabbage to other countries. This has been chosen for it serve many purpose, not just in using this for cooking ingredients but also its health benefits like maintaining a strong and healthy bones for this is rich in calcium.
Another vegetable planted is the "spring onion" with its green leaves this makes your dish more flavorful.

Some of this vegetables are hung. This do not also give an attracting view but also very helpful to our human health.
Through our own simple ways we could create great changes not just to us but also to the environment.

So continue planting for a clean and green environment.
