Need for Speed Heat will be the first EA game to receive crossplay
Electronic Arts and the arcade driving saga Need for Speed are preparing for a new game in the saga, and this one is being developed by none other than Criterion Games. This studio has already done Need for Speed: Most Wanted and other exceptional works like Burnout Paradise in the past. In any case, the release of the latest franchise title: Need for Speed Heat is still relatively recent.
Crossplay, or crossplay, as many know it, is a feature that has become very popular recently. It is something unthinkable years ago; Platformer players from Sony and Microsoft playing together... However, there are already numerous titles that feature crossover gaming, but Electronic Arts still didn't have any. Luckily, that will change soon, specifically tomorrow June 9. Starting tomorrow, Need for Speed Heat will receive crossover play, allowing PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC players to enjoy together. This has been confirmed on the EA website.
On the other hand, EA confirmed that Criterion Games will be in charge of the next Need For Speed, as reported in February 2020. Finally, Electronic Arts promises to make new announcements about the series and others related to Steam next time. June 16 at the EA PLAY 2020 event.
Need for Speed is a saga that was very good, it has not had such excellent games in recent years, but if Heat is going to be the formula they will use from now on, it is excellent, because the game is good.
