A couple of days ago I talked about Final Fantasy VIII and how it was one of the least understood games in the saga. Unlike its sequel, this RPG had less difficulty with its enemies and bosses, as it depended on the level you had, i.e. the more lvl your characters had, the more complicated the monsters would become.

In general terms, Final Fantasy VIII is not a complicated game, however, we can find certain enemies that, no matter how well we are prepared for battle, will give us many problems when facing them, making them the most difficult enemies in the whole game.

As an example we can cite the final boss called Ultimecia, to whom I want to dedicate a special post as one of the deadliest enemies of the Final Fantasy saga, however, it should be noted that his battle is one of the most intense in the game, where we can lose our lives on several occasions to understand their patterns of attack.

Despite its difficulty and certain aspects that make battle difficult, Ultimecia lags behind the game's most difficult super bosses. In total there are 2 and they are totally optional, however, one of them can give you many benefits for future battles.

Below, I'll show you the most difficult bosses or enemies you can find in Final Fantasy VIII.

Ultima Weapon

The same weapon that we would see in Final Fantasy VII we faced here, which curiously has in one of its hands the same sword that we can equip it in Cloud by defeating it in FFVII. This is one of the most recommended super bosses to face, because thanks to the extraction method we can get one of the most powerful guardians called Eden and Artema magic.

To find it we must go to a secret island that is located in one of the corners of the world map, this was a laboratory which was used as a point of extraction of magic with the help of some guardians, however, was abandoned because they found something terrible and decided to leave the whole project in oblivion.

After completing certain objectives on this island we can fight against Ultima Weapon, an enemy that is capable of eliminating any of our characters with a single attack, as it has a ray capable of taking 9999 points of life. Among his most powerful magic we can find Earthquake, Weather and Ultra Gravity.

Omega Weapon

Undoubtedly the most difficult boss in the entire saga, which has a design very similar to the boss described above, but with the particularity of not carrying any sword. It can be found in the castle of Ultimecia and to be able to fight against it you must solve a small puzzle which is totally optional, once solved it will appear in the chapel of the castle.

This boss is capable of having extremely high vitality points, which depend on your level, the highest being lvl 100 with 1,161,000 life points. What makes this enemy really complicated is that he is totally immune to any element, if for any reason you decide to use some magic, it will absorb it, significantly healing his life, so we should only use physical attacks.

His attack pattern makes him really scary, starting with weather magic, then he will use seismic discharge, which will cause all 9998 group damage, he even has meta energy that will kill any of your group in one attack. These attacks plus additional attacks that are very powerful, make it the most difficult battle in the entire video game.
