Super Maro 64 for PC is a reality thanks to this port

in INVEN Gaming4 years ago

Nintendo 64 emulation has always been one of the things that several developers have wanted to perfect. Although several games from the small catalogue of that console work correctly by 90%, there is always some detail that does not allow a perfect gameplay, contrary to other emulators, such as the NES.

Recently, however, something has happened that may abruptly change the emulation of the Nintendo 64, among other Nintendo systems. A few days ago, information was leaked about various Nintendo 64 systems, including Wii, GameCube and N64.

These files include the source code of these consoles, test roms for the N64, and even schematics of the above-mentioned video consoles. This represents a "serious" loss of data for the company, as three generations were left for public exposure.

However, this is excellent news for emulation enthusiasts, thanks to this it will be possible to make a perfect inverted programming to be able to execute any video game of these systems, being the most relevant Nintendo 64 that, as it was mentioned before, it has been a challenge to emulate all its catalogue.

The beginning for the new generation of N64 emulation has begun with one of its most relevant games, Super Mario 64, which has been natively reprogrammed for the PC. It's not an emulator, it's programmed to have its graphics rendering work under DirectX 12, giving the possibility to play at 4K or 1080p resolution with ultrawide and widescreen support.

Many people who wanted to see this videogame working with Ray tracing can do it without any problem, being a native videogame for pc they can make a universe of possibilities, in a short time we are going to see real masterpieces based on this videogame.

Personally I am very excited, as this opens a world of infinite possibilities for the N64 catalog, video games like Banjo Kazooie, Body Harvest, Goldeneye, Jet Force Gemini and many more we can see them with an impressive resolution and performance, just wait and see how the community will form these new PC ports.

Nintendo will surely take action, as we all know this company is very jealous of their franchises, this will result in anyone who shares such information or some of their video games carried to PC end up threatened, in order that you can not download or share these links.

Mario 64 for PC is available in different internet portals, but there are malicious people who have dedicated themselves to insert malware in order to take advantage of this situation, however, I share the game with you through this link totally clean without any malicious software, the browser will warn you that it is a dangerous file, but do not worry, it is totally virus free.

Hopefully other Nintendo 64 games will bring the community with their different mods, for now let's enjoy this excellent Mario 64 port for PC which will mark a new beginning for N64 titles.
