Serious Sam 4 presents a new trailer and launch window

After some time without concrete news of the game, it seems that we can finally prepare to deliver quality lead with 'Serious Sam 4: Planet Badass'. The fourth installment has resurfaced during the Return Direct 2020 online event, where it didn't take long to confirm not only the return of Sam 'Serious' Stone but also the discarding of the subtitle of this installment and the launch window for us to reload our weapons: we'll have it within our grasp this very August 2020.

There's no definite date for the final release, and no specific mention of when, if ever, we'll see the game console versions. What we do have within our reach during this uncertainty is a new trailer that shows us locations, enemies, and a worrying overdose of action.

Sam is not alone

This new preview of 'Serious Sam 4' not only lets us enjoy the action and excitement that will come with Croteam's new adventure but also promises some great gameplay features and details. Through the Steam booking page, we discover that the title promises to deliver the full campaign in a multiplayer mode with up to four characters. The Earth Defense Force, the elite team commanded by Sam, takes on an explosive role to deal with the hours of Mental that we need to stop at all costs if modern civilization is not to become extinct as it has been with other enemies it has come across.
The Legion System is the most promising feature, ensuring that we'll be able to tackle thousands of enemies on screen to give us the challenge to live up to Sam's standards.
This way we'll need the help of as many friends as possible to share the fun of taking down aliens...
