Venezuela in the dark

in Qurator4 years ago (edited)

Hi dear friends

At the beginning of last year, a year ago and a little more, there was a great blackout in Venezuela. Some people attributed it to lack of maintenance, others (the central government) to sabotage. The point is that this blackout affected at least 6 days throughout the national territory. However, despite the circumstances, Venezuelans have learned to live and try to be well no matter what happens. I usually think that all moments are just that, and as such they will also pass.

Today I want to share some photos of the view from my window one of those days. (time: 7 pm to 8pm)

Fortunately, for that time, the sunlight was with us a little more than the time it normally does.

These last two photos I took on the 2nd day. The lights that are still seen are from some who have
in their businesses or urbanizations electric generators and that they could still use them. The day after this photo everything was in complete darkness.

It would have been interesting to be able to take more pictures but, I had no way to charge the camera battery and if I had had a charge I didn't know if my camera would have given me a good image.
